“Hush,” I said, standing with her in my arms.

I spilled her onto her back on the table and buried my face between her thighs. My fingers stroked inside her hot, slippery pussy and my mouth found that little bud above it.

It was hot on my tongue as I sucked it in slow, building pulses. I quickened my fingers and started licking her as I sucked and she exploded. The cry that burst from her as she broke apart was heavenly. I pulled back and straightened, heart pounding.

I needed to keep myself under control or I was going to fuck her on the table right now.

“Not here,” I whispered.

She pushed herself up and blinked, her mascara smudged beneath her eyes. I picked up her dress and helped her into it. Her gaze bored into me as I slipped her heels on and pressed a kiss to her ankle.

Her toes curled.

“I liked calling you daddy,” she said hesitantly. “I don’t know if I’d want it every time. But it was nice.”

“You can call me daddy anytime you feel like it.”

Her mouth curved into an uncertain smile. Then it faded as we realized we’d done the very thing we had promised we wouldn’t.

She slipped off the table and sat down. I returned to my chair and sank into it, pulse still racing. There was a long silence and she picked up her Cosmo and drained it.

“You’re going to say that this has to be the last time, aren’t you?”

I cleared my throat, looking around at the wreckage of the table. She was poised, her glittering fingernails digging into the edge of the table.

“I was going to say that until you’re officially engaged to another man, you belong to me,” I said.

Her gaze snapped up. “Wait…what?”

I raised a brow. “You don’t want that?”

“No…I do,” she stammered. “I just…what about Osian? He’s going to want to sleep with me at some point. Do you care?”

Jealousy ripped through me and it was all I could do to keep my face blank. Or at least I thought I had. She balked, shrinking back into her seat.

“What?”

“You just…you look scary when you make that face.”

“What face?”

She chewed her mouth. “The face where it looks like you want to kill twelve people with your bare hands again.”

“Tell Osian to stay off you until the wedding,” I said. “Say you changed your mind and you want to wait until your wedding night to sleep with him. Or I can tell him.”

“Please don’t. I can do it.” A bit of crimson stained her lower lip. “He’s going to be pissed when he finds out I’m not a virgin anymore.”

“I’ll handle it.”

She watched me with wide eyes as I called out the red faced waiter and paid the bill for the entire restaurant. I wasn’t sure if she was anxious or aroused. Her cheeks flushed as I held out my hand and she slid her fingers through mine.

She stayed quiet while I led her out to the car and drove her home. As we pulled up the driveway, I slid my hand over the console and stroked her leg. Gripping her thigh. Her breath caught and she shifted her legs apart.

“Osian isn’t a virgin and he isn’t abstaining,” I said. “I see him at my clubs, picking up women, all the time. Just because you’re a woman, Clara, doesn’t mean you have to adhere to a different standard.”

“I don’t want to sleep around,” she said hoarsely. “I just want to sleep with you. In your bed.”
