And that was how I spent the rest of the night, sitting there beside Gabby. It was later in the evening when I watched as Irish walked back out of the clubhouse straightening his clothes and searching the courtyard.
Apparently, he didn’t find what he was searching for and when his eyes landed on Gabby, he walked over to us and the moment he reached Gabby he asked, “You seen Sutton?”
She nodded, took a sip from her beer, and said so nonchalantly that he couldn’t tell that she had a hand in this, “I saw Pagan take her into the clubhouse. That was hours ago. You need her?”
I brought my beer to my lips to hide a smile that was forming on my face.
“What did he need her help with?” He asked her.
Gabby hadn’t said that he needed help with anything, oh my brother was a dickhead.
She simply shrugged. “Not sure, but well, she liked whatever he said to her. She jumped out of her chair lightning quick.”
I watched as Irish’s neck turned beet red in color, his nostrils flared. “You mean?”
Gabby sat her beer on the table, then leaned on her forearms, “You know me, Irish, you know I’m blunt and tell it like it is, so I don’t want to hear a single word for disrespecting you for what I have to say. Everyone knows how she feels about you. Everyone also knows how you act whenever another brother even talks to Sutton. We also know that whenever that other woman comes here, you drop Sutton like a hot potato. It's not fair to Sutton. Make a choice. Because it happens again, and you won't just have a pissed-off Sutton to deal with.”
Irish opened his mouth to say more but I saw Pagan and Sutton walking back into the courtyard, and Sutton, well, she was glowing.
Irish turned his head and then bellowed out, “The fuck did you do?”
Pagan crossed his arms and glared at Irish.
But it was Sutton that put his ass in his place, “Went for a ride. I’m surprised you’re done with your whore already. Normally, you spend the night with her in your bed. Hope she realizes how special she is. Cause even I don’t get that.” And with that Sutton shoulder-checked him then winked at Gabby and mouthed bike ride.
I saw Gabby wink at her and then I wanted to slam my fist in Irish’s face for what came out of his mouth next. “So what, my dick wasn’t good enough for you now? You whore.”
Sutton stopped in her tracks and turned stiffly towards Irish, and I saw it in his face, he knew he fucked up, but it was too late. “Last time I checked ever since I joined the MC, it’s only been your dick that's been in my mouth and in my pussy. But my body sure as hell hasn’t been the only place your dick has been. But, after that bike ride with Pagan, he wants to fuck me seven ways to Sunday? I just might let him. You could’ve heard a pin drop as Sutton stormed to the side of the clubhouse and left.
I was up and making my way to Irish to beat the hell out of him, but it was Rome who beat me to it and punched him square in the face.
“We all know what that girl went through. She was raped. And you have the nerve to call her a whore. The only reason none of us have even tried to be with her was that you were the only one she trusted.”
And with that, Coal walked up and punched him in the kidneys.
I stepped up and brought my arm back, and I sailed it into his other kidney. Smiling at the pain on his face.
And by the time everyone got a hit in for how he treated Sutton, the man was limping back inside the clubhouse.
I only knew about what happened to Sutton because Asher had called me to ask me what I thought.
She needed a safe place, and we were that.
