"Are you shutting the resort down?"

"No. We've brought in an expert to take over as general manager in my absence. Val and Eve know him well, and they're certain he can handle the job. Emilio didn't feel ready yet to handle the entire resort on his own."

Vanessa wraps her arms around my neck. "I'm glad you guys are taking some time off. You haven't been married long, and Holly confided to me that you never had a real honeymoon either."

"That's true." He slides an arm across Holly's shoulders. "It's about bloody time, isn't it, darling?"

Holly kisses his cheek. "Damn straight, honey."

I stand up with Vanessa in my arms. "I think it's time for the bride and groom to make their exit. Don't you?"

"Absolutely."

Our immediate family traipses outside with us---and yes, I'm still carrying Vanessa---and we say goodbye again. We had our honeymoon on Heirani Motu, though we weren't married then. So instead of running off to a South Pacific paradise, we're partying here at home in Florida with our family. That's the perfect way to celebrate our rekindled romance.

But we will spend one night at a swanky hotel on the beach.

In the limo, Vanessa snuggles up to me. "Thank you for deceiving me, Craig."

"You're welcome."

"We might never have found each other again if you hadn't pulled that little stunt."

"That's true." I draw her close. "But it was the magic of Heirani Motu that brought us back together."

Never in my life would I have guessed I would call an island magical and claim that it healed my broken marriage. But it's true. A nudist resort changed my life, and I will always be grateful that Vanessa took a crazy chance on a free vacation gifted to her anonymously.

Yeah, I'm one lucky guy.
