“He’s a lonely child?” Rae said, cocking her head to the side.

Eva pulled out and swirled. I moaned loudly, my leg kicking out as my hips thrust of their own volition.

“Do you…need me to leave you alone?”

“Nose bleed,” I covered. “Uh…There’s nothing on FNG. Parents are dead. No siblings. Go find another lead.”

“We already talked about that.”

“Later!”

“But—”

“Rae!” I snapped. “Can’t you see I’m in the middle of something here?”

She snorted as she turned for the door. “I hope you get a happy ending, boss.”

The door snicked behind her and I grabbed Eva by the arms, dragging her up my body. I smashed my lips to hers, as she continued to jerk me off. Hauling her up by her ass, I set her on my desk and slid between her thighs.

“Wrap your legs around me,” I panted, shoving inside her in one swift thrust. She cried out, holding onto me like a monkey as I drove inside her. My lips suctioned to her neck, and the next second, she was clenching down on my cock.

“Cash!” she cried out, holding me tight to her as I came hard inside her.

I was barely able to catch my breath as I rested my forehead against hers.

“So, you’re happy?”

I nodded, a grin splitting my lips. “I just have one request. Fox goes nowhere near you or the kid.”

“I can only guarantee that when I’m pregnant.”

“Then I’ll ply him with Funyuns.”

DUKE

“Hey, Duke!”

I lifted my beer in greetings to the woman across the bar, though the smile on my face was forced. Women were hitting on me left and right, no doubt thanks to Carly. She had a big mouth. I never should have slept with her.

Bowie chuckled beside me. “Duke,” he called out in a girly voice. “Man, you are so fucking lucky.”

“You call this lucky?” I scoffed. “I can’t go anywhere without some woman hitting on me.”

“Yeah, I really feel for you, man. It must be so hard fighting off all those desperate women.”

“You think I want this?” I asked incredulously.

“You’re not exactly fighting it,” he pointed out. He spun around on his stool, leaning back against the bar. “Look at this place. It’s teeming with women that are ripe for the plucking.”

“Now you sound like a pirate.”

“Argh,” he growled.

“You’d make a terrible pirate.”

“I could get an earring,” he said defensively.
