He did his best not to laugh as he shrugged but his eyes were sparkling with delight. “Why did you buy the pretty house, Daddy?”
“It was the first one I didn’t hate and it has a pool.” That had the giggles pouring out of him. “I got a really good deal on it too because it was a government repo because the owner had been caught doing interesting things that were slightly illegal.”
Charlie’s eyes widened and he shivered. “Like dead people things?”
What was he watching when I wasn’t around?
“No, there were no dead people in my house.” That answer had him looking slightly disappointed as he sighed.
“That’s okay, Daddy. Not everyone has fun stuff like dead bodies in the basement.” Squeezing my hand like he was trying to make me feel better, he kissed my cheek. “You’ve got a pool.”
Sometimes he opened his mouth and Austin came out.
I couldn’t decide if it was scary or cute, but I kissed his forehead anyway. “Thank you, sweetheart.”
Dates with my cutie were never boring.
Chapter 16
Charlie
“What are you doing and why are you calling me on your date?” Austin’s words echoed in the small bathroom, forcing me to turn down the volume on my phone. “Those texts didn’t make any sense.”
“I’m hiding in the bathroom.” And I couldn’t do it for long or Daddy would think I had a tummy ache.
“What did that alpha do to you?” He was so offended and upset, I could feel my heart racing faster before I remembered no one had done anything.
That was the problem.
“Um, nothing. That’s…well…I don’t know what to do.” Austin huffed but I jumped back into the confusing explanation before he could say anything…or start to come rescue me. “I tried to be big so I could get a spanking, but I keep being not quite big enough, and Daddy keeps being so nice I don’t think I’m going to get a spanking. He even said he’d show me naughty toys but then we’d wait to use them so I didn’t worry.”
None of that sounded reasonable at all but it made Austin laugh.
“So, he said he’s going to show you sex toys—and you’re going to tell me what kind, so don’t think you’re going to escape that—but he’s going to make you wait until another time to use them?” Austin was back to snickering as I sighed.
“Yes, and I don’t know what to do.” It was all very confusing. “I even told him I like playing games.”
It took Austin entirely too long to stop giggling but he finally took a deep breath. “I can do this. Yes. I can. Okay, cutie. What did you do to your Daddy? He’s fucking with you.”
He was?
“Oh.” I huffed as I sat down on the closed lid of the toilet. “He’s so nice when he does it, though.”
That set off more giggles but he didn’t get sidetracked. “What did you do?”
Ugh.
“Well, little me thought it was funny, and it’s…well, it’s an inside joke, but I fixed his phone so his notifications are all roars. Like a dragon.” I might’ve already confessed about Daddy’s dragon tattoo, so Austin’s giggles came back…and this time they were naughty.
“That’s…you were…” Once he stopped laughing, he sighed. “You made him think of sex with you every time his phone goes off.”
Oops.
“It was funny?” It didn’t seem to matter how many times I said it, Austin kept giggling. “Now what?”
He had to help me fix this.
Daddy was so nice even when he was devious.
