“He came over the next morning before I had coffee, Daddy.” Oops. Did it again. “He was excited and a tiny bit worried because I’d been little after our…after we’d been in the room.”

I hadn’t really meant to bring up that part.

Distraction…I needed a good Daddy distraction. “Um, can I have the last bite of your dessert?”

Yes, food was always good.

Daddy looked like he couldn’t decide if he wanted to laugh or sigh. “Yes, sweetheart, but then we’re going to find someplace nice and quiet so we can finish our discussion. I think there are a few things we should talk about.”

Ugh. I closed my eyes and sighed. I had a feeling this was going to be a blanket discussion too. I was not built for this many blanket discussions in one week.

“Yes, Daddy.”

His coughing said that might’ve come out a little bit dramatic, but I wasn’t going to say sorry since I wasn’t sorry. I was just going to pout until it was over. Then I might die of embarrassment or worry or repressed desire.

It’d been a very long time since I’d kissed Daddy.

Hmm, maybe good boys got rewards?

Chapter 11

Ansel

I had it on the highest authority that drama was not a safeword, so I ignored the sighs and pouts coming from the passenger seat as we headed back to Charlie’s apartment. It seemed to be the place he felt the most secure, so I hadn’t been surprised when a slightly dramatic Charlie had picked to go back to his place to have our discussion.

I might not have been an expert on littles but drama was familiar ground.

“I know it’s your place but did you want me to get you a drink when we get back?” We were almost to his parking lot and having a plan when we went in seemed like the best idea.

All I got was a shrug.

Drama queen.

“How about milk and a sippy cup or some hot tea?” I was just randomly pulling ideas out of the air but milk got another shrug, which seemed to be a positive response. “Alright, milk and some cuddles and then after our discussion, maybe you could show me your fort?”

That had him nibbling on his lower lip and finally peeking over at me with wide eyes. “I don’t stay big very long in my fort even when I try.”

There didn’t seem to be a question mixed up in that statement but it felt like there was a hidden one. “I don’t mind that, sweetheart. If you start out a date big and end little or if you start out little and end big and naughty, I’m fine either way.”

He gave me a slow nod that really didn’t seem to mean he was agreeing with anything but he hadn’t sighed, so I was counting it as a move in the right direction. “Even if it messes up your plans?”

What plans had he messed up?

“I will be very clear if we have plans that can’t be changed.” Reaching over, I gave his thigh a squeeze before bringing my hand back to the wheel to pull into his parking lot. “There might be something like reservations at a fancy restaurant that we keep in mind or if I was introducing you to my pain in the ass family.”

I couldn’t help rolling my eyes at just the mention of that drama, but it got a quiet laugh from Charlie. “But there aren’t many things I can think of that we wouldn’t be able to switch around on a date.”

It wouldn’t be hard to make sure most of our dates were very flexible. As long as I had a few different options planned out, any date should be easy to change around depending on what he needed. “Like if tonight you’d wanted or needed to be little, we could’ve gotten a hamburger at the drive-through and then went to play at the club, or we could’ve gotten delivery and played in your fort.”

As I parked the car, I leaned over and kissed his head. “Those all would’ve been very fun dates.”

“I liked the restaurant tonight, Daddy.” He leaned over and kissed my cheek, focusing on what seemed to be the easiest part. “I liked getting to know you more and the food was wonderful.”

“I’m glad.” Giving him a soft peck on the lips that I kept very chaste just in case he was feeling more innocent than I expected, I nodded toward the building. “Come on. Your neighbors don’t need to see how much I want to cuddle you.”

That got a giggle and a grin that seemed to indicate he was sliding toward being little again. I couldn’t decide if it was a stress response or if he was just ready to stop being a grown-up, but either way it probably didn’t matter.

We needed to have the discussion about what had happened the other night, and unless he safeworded, this seemed to be the best time to have it.
