“I can see that,” Violet said. “And we got more out of you than we normally do. I came here looking for Jasmine and found her here.”

“Do you two need anything from me?” she asked. “Or in here?”

“I don’t,” Violet said. “That is a lie. I need more herbs for planters, but I’ll email you a list. Or you can let me know what you’ve got in abundance. I don’t want to take things if you need them for your products.”

“Thanks,” she said. “I’ll let you know what I’ve got or will have available for you.”

“I think you might need more space,” Jasmine said, looking around the massive greenhouse. They’d given her one of the biggest ones and she’d just had a portion of it to start. Now the whole thing was hers and there were rows and rows of herbs on the ground separated by wood.

“I’m not sure I need another greenhouse, but I’ve got an idea I need to talk to Lily about.”

“She’s here,” Violet said.

“She is?” she asked.

“Yeah,” Jasmine said. “I was just talking to her. She’s going to something at Willow’s school this morning so she was leaving from here and just met with me. She’s in her office here. Go talk to her.”

Heather hated to bother her boss without an appointment, but it was not like they both weren’t working.

“Maybe I will.”

The three of them left and she made her way toward Lily’s house and up the front porch.

The house was huge and quiet even though there was so much going on on the property, but the house was set away some.

She knocked on the door and waited and Lily came out and opened it for her. “Hi, Heather. I was going to come see you before I left. I haven’t had a chance to talk to you much with summer ending and school starting. How are you feeling? You’re walking great now.”

“Yep. No limp,” she said. “And it’s nice to be able to wear anything I want and not worry about it fitting over a cast.”

“You would have made it work,” Lily said. “I’m assuming Jasmine told you I was here. She was going to see you.”

“Her and Violet. If you’ve got a minute, I’ve got an idea for more growing space.”

“Sure,” Lily said. “Have a seat.”

They were in the kitchen and not in Lily’s office. She wasn’t going to say anything. Lily always wanted people to feel at home even if it was during work.

“I’m using so many herbs and trying to replenish them as fast as I can, but need space for more to do it and have the growing times cross over. Don’t worry, it’s not another greenhouse.”

“If you need one of them I’d run the numbers,” Lily said, smiling.

“Not yet. Maybe in the future. We just need to see how the rest of the products are going,” she said.

“So far the room sprays and body sprays are getting rave reviews from the staff and we’ve been selling quite a bit online. More than I thought or projected in the infant stages.”

“Yay me,” she said, doing a little booty dance. “I know I look like Poppy, but she rubs off on us all.”

“She has that talent,” Lily said. “So tell me your idea. I think I can guess.”

She followed Lily’s gaze to a hanging container of herbs on the wall that Lily must use to cook.

“That’s it,” Heather said. “Much bigger though. I thought I could talk with Zane about it and get some ideas. He’s the builder. When he has time. There is no reason we can’t go up with the space that is just unused. I can climb a ladder to get to things. It’s not like the flowers. If he can build some walls to put some on. Or shelves that can have containers attached along one side. I could easily triple my space going up a few levels.”

“I like the way you think,” Lily said. “I’ll talk to Zane about it and find out his work schedule. Tell me when you’d like to start it and how much you need. Now, months from now, a year from now.”

“Really?” she asked.

“Zane likes to have that information so he can figure out the best way to get a base. It will make it easier for him to grow that way. And I know Luke has mentioned helping out on his days off if Zane needs it.”
