He pushes up and kisses me. “Good sore?”

I grin. “The best kind of sore.” I cup his face and stare into his eyes. “You give me everything I need, Daddy. I love you. I love you more now than I did then. You complete me.”

“I love you too, boy.” He smashes his lips to mine and kisses me so hard that the pillow puffs up around my head as the stuffing gets displaced. “Move in with me.”

My eyes widen.

“We’d get to spend more time together if we cut out the travel time between our homes.”

“True—”

“If you think this place isn’t big enough, we can look for somewhere else. A house, maybe, with a garden.”

“You want more plants.”

He laughs. “We could create a flower garden together.”

“Or a vegetable patch.”

“And a vegetable patch.”

I grin. “I love your apartment, Daddy. I think it’s big enough for both of us.”

“But?”

“I can’t afford to give you half the rent on a place like this. I’m a librarian.”

“Why would you need to? Save your money. I’m a premiership rugby player. I afford this place on my own. I don’t need you to contribute. I want to take care of you, Wren. Let me be your Daddy in every sense.”

It’s hard to argue when he puts it like that. He’s asking me to move in with him, rent-free, not give up my job. I’d still have my own income. I could save my money, just in case. I’ve always wanted a Daddy I could surrender to. Not a total twenty-four-seven power exchange arrangement, but I could handle letting Tanner provide for me; I know I could.

He kisses my forehead. “Think about it. There’s no rush to give me an answer.”

I smile as I stare at him. I’ve done enough thinking. “I love and trust you, Daddy. I want to be with you.”

“Is that a yes?”

I grin. “Yes.”

He wraps his arms around me, pulls me on top of him, and peppers me with kisses. “I love you.”

“I love you too.”

Chapter 11

Tanner

“Ready?” I ask once I’ve parked the car.

We’re outside my team captain’s house. He has a barbecue for the team and their partners every year at the start of September before the season starts. This is the first time since I went pro that I’ve taken anyone. As often happens when we go out, Wren wears an outfit I’ve chosen for him. He looks gorgeous in a baby pink polo shirt and knee-length cream shorts. I picked colours that complement the colour of his glasses and make his brown eyes pop. I love that he trusts me enough to choose his outfits more often than not.

“I’m nervous for some reason.” Wren puts his hand on my thigh. “Are you?”

Am I? I spend more time with my teammates than my family, so introducing Wren to them is a huge deal.

“A little, yes.” I hold his hand and squeeze it. “It’ll be great.”
