Chrissie was no longer a lonely, overwhelmed city Little… she was now ready for a fresh start in a far more relaxed environment.

Well, that was the plan anyhow.

Chrissie was twenty-two years of age and had pretty much always known she was a Little. But for whatever reason, and even in the big city, she had never really found a gang of Little friends to connect with.

Chrissie always felt too shy and reserved to go to the various Little clubs and play-places across the city. There was something about them that made Chrissie feel nervous and the longer it went on, the harder Chrissie found it. In the end, Chrissie had almost resigned herself to not having anyone to share her Little life with.

With her blonde hair and blue eyes with almost magically sparkling flecks of green, in theory Chrissie should have proven irresistible for a Daddy. Chrissie’s pert little butt should have been like a beacon for any Daddy Dom, but inexplicably Chrissie found herself alone.

This made her feel sad. But Chrissie did have plenty of things going for her outside of a lack of Little friends or a Daddy. For one, she was great at her job. Working in online content, copywriting, and with a master’s degree in Public Relations, Chrissie had a great track record in her career.

It was her career that had enabled Chrissie to move out of the city in fact. With remote working becoming a big thing in the world, Chrissie’s company had allowed its employees to work from home. There would be the odd day where they would need to come into the office for meetings or large proposals, but generally everyone was allowed to get their work done from the comfort of their home.

‘I think I’ll put my workstation…here!’ Chrissie said, bouncing on her heels in excitement as she earmarked a spot overlooking her garden. ‘Jingles, you can sit here and look out onto the garden with me. But no running off and chasing squirrels, okay?’

Chrissie let out a satisfied sigh.

Maybe moving from the city in search of a quieter life was going to work out just fine after all. Chrissie found the city an intense, totally overwhelming place.

Sure, it was fun to be able to go to a million movie theaters or restaurants at any time of day or night. And Chrissie definitely did like the hundreds of toy shops and crafting departments that seemed to be on every corner.

But in the end, Chrissie felt like it was time to try a different way of life.

Stallion Valley was way smaller than the city, but she’d heard only good things about it. Plus, Chrissie had done some research and there was an open minded and apparently burgeoning Little and Daddy community going on.

Chrissie was now a single Little in Stallion Valley. Who knows what could happen?

Chrissie though wasn’t going to be putting any pressure on herself to find her Forever Daddy. All she was going to do was be open minded to the possibility of it happening.

Perhaps more important to Chrissie in the immediate future was finding a group of Little friends. Part of the reason Chrissie had been topo shy to reach out and make Little friends in the city dated back to her childhood.

Growing up poor, or certainly way less well off than most at her high school, had made Chrissie feel like an outsider. It hadn’t been good for her confidence. Not one bit.

But maybe a fresh start would help Chrissie take that leap and leave her high school hang-ups behind. After all, she was a young and successful career girl now.

‘Hmmm, what’s this?’ Chrissie said, noticing her cell phone lighting up with a message. ‘Oh jinkety-stinks!’

The message was an update from the moving company. There was going to be an even longer delay in her stuff being delivered. This wasn’t meant to be the way things went. The whole point of using her company’s own contracted delivery firm was that there wouldn’t be any problems.

But Chrissie was determined that she wasn’t going to let a small little hiccup ruin her first day in Stallion Valley.

No, what Chrissie was going to do was turn the negative into a positive. Had all her stuff arrived on time, she would have already been neck-deep in piles of clothes and bed linen.

With this unexpected free time on her hands, Chrissie decided that it was time to explore Stallion Valley. And if she so happened on passing a paint and craft supplies store, then even better!

There might even be other Littles in the paint shop. Chrissie had never felt so optimistic about meeting new people. It was like moving to Stallion Valley was a re-set of her life.

But rather than get too excited and place too much expectation on who she might meet, Chrissie decided to focus on what she could control. And that was very much the chance to buy copious amount of paint.

Chrissie knew that a good session of paint play would make her feel right at home in her cute little cottage. And even better, with none of her crafting supplies having arrived in the move, this was the perfect excuse to fully re-stock everything!

Paints.

Pencils.

Paper.

Even a new easel! Yay!
