He pulled it off, the vibe going silent as he put it away. He picked up a condom and rolled it over his cock. “You remember how I said this wouldn’t be romantic?”

She didn’t care. Her body was thrumming with the release and now she wanted more. “It’s all right. I can handle hard-core Sebastian.”

He picked up one of the keys. “But I think I need more.” He released her hands and stared down at her. “You’re so beautiful to me. You make me want to be better, to be more.”

She shook her head and reached for him. He didn’t need to be more than he was. He simply needed to allow his instincts to rule. “You only need to be here with me. I love you, Sebastian. I’ll say it until you believe it.”

He lowered himself between her legs, covering her body with his. “I love you. I never thought I would say those words again. I damn straight never thought I would mean them. I need you to understand that I’ve never loved a woman the way I love you.”

She reached up and wrapped her arms around him, not even caring anymore that he’d been so mean to her poor backside. “Then don’t you ever hide or hold back from me again because I love every inch of you.”

He moved between her legs, his cock entering her in one long thrust. His eyes closed and his face took on a look of pure pleasure. “You feel so good.”

She was sure she was super tight. She felt tight. The plug pressed in even as Sebastian started to move inside her. So full. She’d never been so full.

He gave himself over, leaning down and kissing her as though he had to fill her in every way possible. She held on to him, giving him everything she had. His cock thrust in and out, his pelvis grinding down on her clitoris, and it wasn’t long before she went over the edge again.

Sebastian stiffened over her, holding himself tight to her as he came. His whole body relaxed and he pressed her back into the mattress.

“This is better,” he whispered. “Better than all the rest.”

She held him close. It was the best because this time the pairing was right.

Chapter Sixteen

Three weeks later, Sebastian looked up at the painting with a deep sense of satisfaction.

“It looks good here, doesn’t it?” Eric stood at his side.

The large canvas dominated the previously bland wall forming the focal point of the dining room of Fort Worth’s Top. It was done in shades of blue, the strong form of a man coming out of the whirl of fascinating colors. It was stunning. Like the artist.

And like the artist’s muse, the man stood, but had no legs. He didn’t need them. He was held up, made strong by the love that surrounded him.

“It’s perfect here.” If he didn’t stop thinking about it, he was going to get ridiculously emotional. Better to think about other things until later tonight when he could get her all alone and show her how he felt. “But I’m shocked at how much that damn gallery took. She barely saw two thousand off that painting. They took forty-five percent of the price. I’m finding her another gallery.”

Eric’s eyes had gone wide. All around them the new staff was bustling, getting ready for the open that happened in less than ten minutes. But Sebastian and Eric had wanted a moment. “That’s the best gallery in the city. I think you might want to talk to Tiffany about that particular part of her career.”

He would, but he thought she could do better. Perhaps he could work a deal. Anything for her. She was going places and he was going to be the man who supported her while she got there. “I only want the best for her.”

“Have you thought about selling them here? Or doing our own gallery nights? Deena loves interesting community outreach. We could have a wine and cheese and art night.”

All of his favorite things in one place. “I’ll talk to her about it. It could be fun. There’s Chef.”

Sean and Grace Taggart walked out of the kitchen. Chef was dressed in an impeccable suit, while his wife looked stunning in a cocktail dress. Grace had an infant in her arms while Sean was escorting his daughter. Carys Taggart held her father’s hand and looked around the restaurant with wide green eyes.

Sean extended his free hand. “Eric, Sebastian, the place looks great.”

Grace smiled, patting baby Lucas’s back. “And the crab cakes are amazing.”

Chef grinned. “Javi might have given us a tasting plate. It’s a phenomenal menu.”

He’d gone with a classic Chardonnay. It paired beautifully, the fruity notes bringing out the flavor of Eric’s perfectly cooked crab.

Tiffany stepped up. She was wearing her uniform, dark slacks, crisp white shirt, her blonde hair in a sedate bun, but he knew what she looked like when her hair was wild and her eyes were only for him.

And she knew every part of him and somehow, someway, still loved him.

For that he was eternally grateful.
