His eyes were ablaze. “What?”

“I…” I stopped talking when I looked down at him. His cock was still bulging against his pants. I really wanted to taste him. He was so big. I wasn’t even sure if he’d fit inside of me. What am I talking about?!

“Bee, sit down.”

I shook my head. “I need to go.”

“Sit down,” he said more firmly.

I quickly scooted into my seat. God he was domineering. And sexy.

“I know that you enjoyed what we just did. That’s only a taste. I’ve got so much planned for you.”

My face flushed. “I think I’ve given you the wrong impression of me.”

“Caldwell.”

“What?”

“My last name is Caldwell. Do you feel better now?”

That name sounded so familiar. But I couldn’t put my finger on it. “No, not really. I still don’t know anything about you.”

“I think it makes it a little better.” He smiled at me. “Are you really telling me you’ve never hooked up with a stranger before?”

“No.”

His lips curled into a smile.

“I’m glad you find me humorous.”

The waiter came over and placed our steaks on the table. “Is there anything else I can get for you?”

It felt like he was staring at me. Shit, does he know? I had to be imagining it. No one had seen us; the door was locked.

“We’re fine, thank you, Ethan,” Mason said.

The waiter smiled and walked away. Dinner smelled amazing. I hadn’t realized how famished I was. I quickly cut into the steak and took a bite.

“Mmm,” I sighed.

“You do like meat in your mouth.”

I swallowed. “I like steak.”

“We’ll see what else you like.”

I grabbed my wine glass and took a long sip. I didn’t have any resolve left. Even though my mind was telling me no, my body was telling me yes. I wanted him and I couldn’t seem to control myself. I had never been so instantly attracted to someone in my life.

“I guess we will see.” I gave him a challenging look.

“How many men have you been with?”

I shifted in my seat. There was never a segue between any of his questions. He was brash and didn’t seem to give a fuck about what came out of his mouth. “That’s an inappropriate question.”

“We’re on a date. All we’re supposed to be doing is asking each other inappropriate, invasive questions.”

“Fine. One.”
