“If you really hate it, I will resume Benjiro.”
He snorted. “Have you eaten?”
“No, I was just going to make something.”
“We have been invited to Minoru’s.”

Polly looked at her. “That’s different from the light silks that they picked.”
Olly smiled. She loved the long tunics and leggings. “This was a gift from Alita. She’s the nicest omega I have met. We have even met for tea a few times, and I met her sister-in-law. Nora is a beta like us and has the cutest baby.”
Polly smiled. “You look happy.”
“Benjiro got me a study prep book for my GED. I am kind of excited by it.”
Polly looked at her and burst into tears. Minoru glanced over and came to rub Polly’s back. “She’s been emotional and just letting everything out. It’s good. She shouldn’t bottle things up. She’s also happy for you.”
Olly smiled. “I know.”
She hugged Polly, and Polly cried again. She distracted her sister with news of the fighting in the video, and they chatted for an hour, covering Feng and Taio starting their path toward the championship. It would all be over in a few weeks, and then they would be home again.
Benjiro drove them home in the evening, and she was smiling. He looked at her. “You are always better after seeing Polly.”
“We used to be one person. We are going to be close.”
He smiled. “How many more positions do you need to get yourself into?”
She snickered. “Six, and I can do those in the bedroom.”
“I look forward to seeing them.”
“Yeah, I bet.”
Olly giggled and leaned back in her seat. Her future was starting to take shape, but tomorrow, she had to go collect dragon fire. He was only an hour and a half away, so she needed to do it in person. That was going to be a pain in the ass.
“You need to see Feng and Taio. Right. You and every beta in the area. If you want to join the line, it starts over there.”
She nodded. “I thought as much. Right. Benjiro, please, step over here.”
He frowned and looked like he wanted to flatten the guard.
She whispered to Benjiro what she needed, and he widened his eyes. Then, he kissed her, pressed her to the post behind her, and leaned on her just enough that she felt a physical ache bordering on pain.
They made out for three minutes before she felt the pressure of Feng on their link. “He’s coming,” she whispered.
“I am not too far off myself.” He chuckled.
The doors flew open, the betas in miniskirts shrieked, and Feng barrelled straight for her, prying her away from Benjiro and holding her. She held his head and kissed him. He lifted her and carried her inside, Taio laughing and getting clearance for Benjiro behind them. She wrapped her legs around him and kissed him as he walked to the apartment set aside for him. There was a lot of laughter that gradually stilled as they continued on, and their savagery was undeniable.
He opened the door and pushed inside. He clawed at her dress, shoving it up over her hips, and then he released his cock and lifted her to press into her.
