“Oh, your sister is lovely. You have different colouring but the same face?”

“Yes, ma’am. My colouring has changed twice.” She sat quietly.

“Her mark is prettier. Yours is cluttered.”

“It is, ma’am.” She kept her breathing even as she fought getting furious.

Feng frowned. “Auntie, what are you doing?”

His aunt looked at him and smiled. “Just testing your little beta. I am seeing a very subdued mouse.”

“That isn’t subdued. She is trying to stay calm, possibly for the baby. I am guessing she really wants to put you through that wall.” Feng crouched. “Come on; this was a stupid idea. They would probably put you in greys and browns. At least I can tell grandmother that I brought you here.”

Taio came over with a stack of cookies. He crouched next to Olly and offered her a cookie.

She stroked his cheek and took a cookie. He blinked and blushed. “I didn’t know you felt like that.”

She nibbled at the cookie and curled her hand. Hua frowned and darted forward, grabbing Olly’s hand. The older woman stroked her skin, up her forearm, and then her neck. “You... feel like an omega. I know the Russian’s family had one like this. A beta turned omega.”

There was a moment, and Hua’s eyes opened. “Did you say baby?”

Feng chuckled. “I did.”

“Oh, your parents are going to explode.” She chuckled and hugged Feng. “They have been waiting for you to settle down for years.”

Olly got up and stepped away. “You two hug that out.”

She looked around for Benjiro, and when he came in with a coffee cup, she fought the urge to tackle him. He handed her a coffee with a smile. “Decaf, but I think you need one.”

She sipped and sighed, leaning into the arm he wrapped around her.

Feng growled and walked over to her. “Congratulations on your pregnancy, Feng. You aren’t showing at all.”

He paused and tugged his ear. “My family has been worried.”

Jing appeared with an armload of clothing in browns and greys.

“Yeah, I don’t think there is anything here that I am interested in. Well, except for the cookies.”

Taio tsked. “They were so welcoming when I started following Feng around. This is just weird.”

Benjiro murmured, “Give them a chance to get to know you.”

“Why?”

“Because they will learn about something amazing. You.” He kissed her head.

“You are just saying that because you want to get laid.”

“Absolutely.” He smiled.

Chapter Five

The discussion in Mandarin was rapid, loud, and frank. Olly tried to pretend that she didn’t hear them talking about her breasts, waist, and hips, but when they mentioned that Feng must crush her, she caught her alpha’s gaze.

Feng looked between his aunts and her glowing cheeks. “You... speak Mandarin?”

She shook her head. “Oh, no. I can understand it but not speak it.”
