Colin turns toward me, as I pull the bucket of water back up from the well. “I’m crazy. It was just a kiss. I’m sure you didn’t even want it and I imagined the connection. I mean, you’re with Brad and God knows he’s had it tough lately. We all have. I’m not trying to step in. I just—”

“I felt it too,” I say, guilt constricting my heart as I wonder why they’ve all had it tough lately. I want to ask, but it doesn’t feel like the right time. Besides, there are still camera’s watching and I don’t want him to have to air his personal business if he doesn’t want to.

Colin’s shoulders relax as his neck tenses. “Oh. Okay, well it’s good to know I’m not imagining things.”

I nod and glance up toward him, our eyes catching for a moment before scattering again. If he says anymore, I’m not sure I can deny it, but that complicates whatever it is I have going on with Brad.

I swear, only me. Anyone else would’ve just been happy to be falling for one great guy. I have to find two and completely blow it all up.

“So you’re feeling it too then?” Colin asks, turning toward me, his large hand on my elbow.

My eyes are wide, I know they are. I can feel the air scathing across the whites as I gather my thoughts.

As I’m thinking, Colin bends down toward me, his head lowering as his gaze stays on mine. “Should we check to see if we feel it again? Maybe the first time was a fluke.”

What he’s saying makes sense… to my irrational puppy dog heart, anyway.

I swallow hard, letting the magnetism of the moment pull my lips toward his with such desire, I can’t help but sink in. He’s solid and caring in his movements, his large hand on my cheek before he sweeps it up through my hair, tangling his fingertips deep within the silk strands.

“Did I just become a ghost, because I just left reality.” I can’t help but smile as I kiss him harder. I appreciate that about him. He’s funny. He’s funny and sweet and together our lips feel like fire and ice.

Dragging his hand down over my hips, he works his way toward my ass, gripping the soft flesh upward in his palm for a squeeze. His dick is hard again, poking at my stomach, the ridge like an empty promise I want to hold him to.

“Are you feeling this or am I just a lonely man?” He barely lifts his lips from mine to speak.

My hand lies on his shoulders and follows the path down over top of his biceps, stalling when I reach his elbow before I ride back up again.

“You know I feel this too, Colin. I just don’t know wha—”

“You’re worrying about Brad, aren’t you?”

I nod. “This is just so wrong. I shouldn’t like both of you. It’s —”

“He may be more understanding about it that you think,” Colin says, kissing his way down the side of my neck. “Do you want me to talk to him?”

My clit aches and pulses until nearly all I can think about is being dragged up against the edge of the well and fucked, hard.

“What the hell is going on up here?” a deep voice booms in from the distance.

My heart drops and I pull away from Colin as though I’ve done something wrong, the cool air immediately evicting his warmth.

“Hey, Zane,” Colin says, his cock still on high alert as he turns. “I thought you were down there working. We’ve got a shelter to finish before dark, ya know?” He’s joking, but Zane doesn’t laugh. Instead, he rolls his eyes and dips into the well to fill his canteen.

“You mind helping Brad collect some firewood? I’m going to check the lines for dinner.” His tone is dark and rough, and I can’t help but wonder how much he’s seen.

“I can collect wood too,” I say, my voice shaking. “I mean, I did get some earlier. May—”

“We need more. We’re going to be smoking fish and we’ll need some for warmth tonight.”

He pulls his canteen from the bucket and wraps the rope around the hook, holding it in place. “The three of you are going to fuck this up,” Zane says. “This is what Jane wants. She wants us all against each other.”

“No one is fucking anything up, Zane,” Colin says lightly, patting him on the back as he walks down the ravine, my hand still in his. “It’s all going to work out, you’ll see.”

My stomach turns in loops as Colin, and I turn the corner further into the jungle. Something tells me I need to tell Brad what’s going on before Zane gets a hold of him.
