“I had a nice time with you.”

When Sebastian's brow arches, I blush hard and look away quickly as I begin to stammer.

“I m-mean, it was nice spending time with you and Callie.”

Sebastian's chuckle is deep and low.

“It was nice spending time with you too.” He replies, his eyes alight with laughter. I can tell that he is teasing me, but I can't think of anything to say to that. “Let my driver drop you off.” He adds when I pull out my phone to order a ride.

“No. I'd hate to put you out.”

“You're not.” He assures as he pulls his phone out and types quickly. A minute later, he looks up and says, “He will be out front in five minutes. Why don't you say goodbye to Callie?”

“Oh my God!” I exclaim. I had forgotten about Callie and felt guilty that I had almost left without saying goodbye. It wasn't entirely my fault. I had not been thinking straight. Sebastian Vaughn was going to have to take half the blame for that.
