“Ya fucking right,” Colton hollered. “That man is on his last strand of resistance. I commend him for his patience.”
I rolled my eyes and walked out of the room and waited for him to follow.
“Patience is a virtue,” I tossed with a sweet smile. “He’ll reap the rewards sooner rather than later.”
And maybe those rewards will bless the very valley we wish to protect.

“Lexianne!” Felix and Fynn called out to me as they paused in whatever fight they were engaged in to see Colton and I walk through the field with Laura’s flailing ass.
When I reached what felt like the front of the massive crowd of demons, I dumped Laura on the ground which had her scrambling on her hands and knees to seethe at me.

That variation was intriguing, but a good chunk were in their human forms in various attires of black, white, and a few in mixed colors—like red and purple.
