I just had to be me. Malifer Nightshade. The Ruler of Demon Valley who’s completely smitten for Lexianne Monarch.

“Your… kinks… oh fuck.” She was so close, her moans going up an octave and motivating me to move my hips even faster as I felt my approaching release.

“Cum with me, baby. Let me hear your scream and release all that fucking tension.”

It was more than just tension—a power brewed between us that was so dangerously powerful that I couldn’t fathom what would happen when we climaxed.

We’re going to find out.

“Cum for me, Lexianne!” I ordered and pressed her so tightly against the wall that it triggered our dual release.

“Malifer!” she cried out in bliss as her eyes rolled back and her head slammed against the wall behind her.

“Fuck, Lex,” I groaned and my eyes rolled back, the rush of my orgasm consuming me and releasing the energy that begged to be freed.

Car sirens rang, the ground shook violently beneath us, and screams from near and far hit the air, but nothing could pull us away from this moment as shots of my cum spilled down my cock, surely landing on Lex’s stomach and pussy.

We focused on solely breathing, and I don’t know how long I held her as we fought to come down from our high, but when we were finally able to open our eyes, I was shocked by the decorated surfaces of the entire booth.

Roses, thousands of them, decorated the interior walls of the booth, the colors dancing between black, midnight blue, purple, red, and pink. The aroma was rejuvenating, the petals reflecting a tiny sparkling glow to them, and the overall vibe looked like we’d entered a box of a dark, mystical world.

I lowered Lex’s legs and hooked my arms around her waist. She was just coming out of her own high when she observed our surroundings with half-open eyes.

“Holy fuck,” she cursed. “Beautiful,” she whispered. “That… was…” She didn’t finish as her eyes rolled back and I swiftly caught her weight as she passed right out.

“Shit, Lex,” I growled, but I needed a moment to correct my own stance because I was dizzy as hell while my legs quaked thanks to the drop in my own energy levels.

I managed enough shadowed strength to conjure us both new sets of clothes: a set of joggers and a T-shirt for me and a set of black pants and a white T-shirt for Lex.

With a few inhales, I scooped her up and ensured I’d be able to maintain my balance before I walked out of the booth.

And entered the decorated block that looked like we’d walked into the tainted lands of Narnia.

I wasn’t the only one completely taken away by the enchanting sight of roses, night lilies, and fluttering black and blue butterflies that were fluttering all through the night sky. There were fireflies and dragonflies, and the sidewalk was now covered in batches of black grass.

No matter the gothic theme of wildlife, everything was indeed alive and certainly blessed with magic, and it made me realize what we carried in our grasp with our connection.

New life. We can bring life to the valley.

“This is the power your father needs.”

I looked to my right to see Lauren. I was shocked to see her here when I knew Nathan had teleported her with the others. It made me suddenly fear the worst, but Lauren caught onto it and shook her head in hopes of cutting through my negative thoughts.

“Everyone is fine. We made it to Demon Valley, but I knew with how we left you guys that you’d need a Time Keeper to fix things,” she revealed and specifically looked to Lexianne. “She needs a boost from the sacred lagoon. Her healing energies are too weak. I can only assume she had a bit of a fight with those kidnappers.”

“The lagoon closest to here will be Shade Moon, and I can’t risk going there.”

“Your father would be waiting for us if we did,” she agreed. “Does Demon Valley have one?”

“Yes… but I haven’t used it in a very long time.”

“As long as the land is there and there’s water still in it, that’s all we need,” she stressed. “Let’s hurry before things get messy here.”

With one last look at the blossomed paradise, the glimmer of hope in my heart further spread as I realized what we’d done.

Against all odds, we just changed our fate from enemies…to lovers.
