But then, a thought occurred to me, and I lifted my head from Andrew’s chest, saying, “Jericho?”
“Yeah?”
“Where’s our plane?”
He let out a bark of laughter. “It’s right there.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah,” he said, grabbing my hand from Morgan’s chest and forcing what felt like a metal key into my palm. “I stole them from Mac. No way was I going to let him take off without all of us.”
“All of us?” I asked.
Jericho hugged me tight, sandwiching me between his broad chest and Andrew’s, and then his gravely voice was whispering in my ear.
“Yeah,” he said. “All of us. We’re a team now.” He kissed my ear, then the side of my head, then the top.
“Remember?”
“So, does that mean I can tell them your real name?” I asked.
“Wait,” Andrew replied. “You told her your real name? Even Morgan and I don’t know your real name!”
“These idiots?” Jericho asked, squeezing me tighter. “No. Absolutely not.”
