“And what about you?” she asked Dylan softly.
He ducked his head, his fringe flopping over his eyes. “I kinda like having you around.”
“Aww!” She grabbed him and hugged the crap out of him. Tears prickled in her eyes. “I kinda like you too, weirdo. And you.” She pulled away and peppered kisses over Hunter’s face while he giggled. “And you.” She paused to take a long look at Shane’s freaking gorgeous face, and then she kissed him. He wound his arms around her, and she heard Dylan usher Hunter from the room.
“Is that a yes?” he asked against her lips.
“Yes,” she replied, kissing him. “Yes.” Kiss. “Yes.” Kiss. “Yes.” Kiss.
“Good.” His features softened, and he rested his forehead on hers. “Because I don’t like having you away from me, even if it’s only for short periods of time. I want all of you, all the time.”
Faith’s heart sang. For someone who’d always been told she was too much, too loud, too out there, his words were what she’d been waiting her entire life to hear.
“I want as much of you as I can get too.” She angled her mouth over his. “Don’t you worry, handsome. I’m not going anywhere. Not ever.”
Why would she, when she finally had everything she’d ever wanted?
All she had to do was say yes.
