Pulling away slightly, his fiery gaze meets mine. “You tell me.”

He lifts me off the washer, slowly lowering me onto his cock. We both groan, and I wrap my arms around his neck.

With his hands holding my ass, he moves me up and down. My hips grind to match his movements. He nibbles my neck before saying, “Does this feel real to you?”

“Yes,” I cry as he bottoms out inside of me. I sway to one side as my eyes slide shut. My back hits a wall, and Xander shifts so it holds some of my weight.

His thrusts turn harder and faster, and one of his hands clamps over my mouth. “Will I ever have to remind you who you belong to again?”

I shake my head, moaning. I hear voices somewhere in the house, and my eyes go wide. But Xander just smirks, removing his hand from my mouth and snaking it in between our bodies.

“Can you stay quiet, little bird?” he murmurs as he flicks my clit with his thumb.

My fingernails dig into his shirt, and I bury my face into the crook of his neck. I’m close—so close.

Xander shifts me, angling my hips slightly differently. It changes everything, and a burst of pleasure causes me to scream into his shoulder. But he doesn’t let up, even as my squirms make me impossibly hard to hold.

He shoves his thumb into my mouth, and I suck myself off of him. When he finally comes, it’s with one last pump that shatters both of us.

He holds me as we both breathe heavily. After a few minutes, he sets me down gently, pulling my dress back up.

My body is still shaking as he sets me on the floor. As he peppers my neck with kisses, I hold onto his shirt for balance.

“Now we’re ready to go outside,” he says, nibbling the shell of my ear.

I adjust my dress as he pulls his shorts back up. “I need to clean myself up first. I’ll meet you out there?”

He nods, giving me one more kiss before leaving. After taking a few deep breaths, I head down the hallway to one of the many bathrooms on the first floor. This one never got used as much, since it’s a little out of the way.

Once I’ve locked myself inside, I work to clean myself up. When I glance in the mirror, I wince at my hair. It was perfect when we left, but now it’s a mess.

I run my fingers through the soft curls, trying to smooth the frizz from my head rubbing against the laundry room wall.

When I finally look presentable enough, I make my way to the back of the house. But as I do, I find a large figure in my way.

He glares down at me with green eyes before pulling me into a sitting room.

“What the hell, Tristan?” I hiss, yanking my arm out of his hold.

“Ah, ah, ah, Sophia. Be careful how you treat me. Unless you want to say goodbye to your precious Xander, that is.”

I freeze. I don’t have to fake the fear in my voice as I say, “What do you want?”

“It’s quite simple.” He steps toward me, and I have to stop myself from backing away. “You know how Alexander never really got over you? Well, neither did I.”

I can feel the blood draining out of my face as Tristan takes another step toward me, pulling one of my curls through his fingers.

“And considering you failed me last night, I’d say I’m owed some sort of compensation.”

“What?” I whisper, clasping my hands together to hide the way they’re shaking.

“Kiss me. Even more than that, kiss me like you mean it.”

I laugh. “You can’t be serious. I wouldn’t kiss you if you were the last person on the planet.”

He lets out an amused hum. “Even to save Alexander? I didn’t expect you to give up so easily.”

My stomach lurches. Of course, I should’ve expected this. Tristan is as manipulative as a person can get, and I swear he thrives off of making other people uncomfortable. I’d love nothing more than to wipe that disgusting smirk off his face right now.
