“Going to send me to the Eagle’s Nest?”
I hadn’t decided what to do, yet. I didn’t want her in the Big House with me, but I didn’t want her off the property either. I thought about moving her upstairs, over the clubhouse with the whores, but I wanted to protect her and her child who would be in danger because of me. It wasn’t safe up there. As mad as I was, I didn’t want another man to have her. She was still mine. Putting her in a guest room at the Big House would prevent that but wouldn’t send the message to my crew or to her.
I decided. “You’ll move out of the Big House, move into Cece’s house.” It was the closest house to mine. “Her and her nurse will move in with her brother, Pagan.”
“Wouldn’t it make more sense if I just moved in with Cece. I don’t want to kick her out of her house.”
“It’s settled. Go pack your bags. Wait in the Big House. Someone will be over to move you.”
“I could just leave. I could call the cops.”
“You could.” I grabbed her and spun her. I lifted her shirt. I touched the K I’d carved into her back. “But I don’t play by their rules, love.”
“I’ll find another man.”
