He fumbled for a moment but found a video. He casted it up on a big screen on the wall. Watching with him, I was on edge. This man had proof of something. An impending doom loomed. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks.
In 4K, I saw Sky but not on the night I rescued her from Shakey’s. Before then. Just a couple days prior. Ralph entered the dressing room. The women all went out of their way to avoid him. All but Sky. He kissed her. She wiped her mouth like she didn’t enjoy it. Good for her.
“I heard you’re trying to go to Royal Road like your cousin.”
“Maybe I was.”
“Aren’t you feisty? Listen, I know everything. I won’t put up much of a fight about you leaving, if you agree to get me some info while you’re there.”
“Sure. What’s in it for me?”
“Money, a car. You can’t keep driving that piece of shit van. I’ll give you anything you want. Just get close to Kingpin. Seduce him.”
“Why me?”
“I’ve already got someone watching. Okay. I know you banged him already. It’s alright. I’ve sent all kinds of girls there, and he doesn’t take the bait for some reason. So, you’re special.”
“Yeah, I already fucked him so it should be easy enough.”
“That’s what I like to hear.”
Ralph grabbed her by the hair, and she sank to her knees. Ralph fast-forwarded the video of them having sex. He fasts-forwarded to the night I rescued her. The night I shot him in the foot.
They were in this office before I arrived.
Sky spoke. “Yeah, I lured him in. He can’t resist a young girl, apparently. He’s a sicko. He’s trying to bone my mom.” She laughed about me. “Trying to keep his dick in his pants around me. I’m making it hard for him. I’m really playing it up. It’s fucking hilarious. If I know my mom, she won’t have anything to do with a biker. When he realizes that, he’ll be putty in my hands.”
“Sky, you’re one bad bitch. He’s coming tonight?”
“Yeah.”
He raises her skirt. Takes her on the very desk I’m leaning on. I lifted my hands from it like it was on fire.
Fuck.
He hadn’t worn a condom. The same night I went to that private room with her, she’d just fucked Ralph. I didn’t have sex with her that night, but I fucked her with my half- full beer bottle because she’d been begging for it. Then I drank the beer.
“That beer hits different now, doesn’t it bastard?”
Ralph had seen it all on tape.
I felt like hurling. The room spun. I about fell over, and Goliath had to catch me. But I quickly composed myself.
“So, with the timing, Ginny says her baby could be mine,” Ralph announced.
“Ginny?” The nurse Sky and I saw at the doctor’s office.
“Yeah. Her dad might be Royal Bastards MC, but her mom’s side married into my family. Your club has gotten too big for you to even realize where people’s allegiances lie, Kingpin. Junebug is none too happy with you, either. She’s about to defect and bring an officer with her.”
With that, Goliath laid into him. We beat him to a bloody pulp. I warned him to mess with us again. To leave Sky alone.
But I was dying inside.
Chapter 15
Kingpin
Humiliated, I went back to Royal Road and straight to the Big House. I felt so weak, I took the elevator. In a daze, I confronted Sky. But since she was with child, I tried to control myself.
