Holding my jaw, I was stunned. My eyes widened as I wondered what caused his anger.
“Eve’s gone. She left because of you and your shit.”
I’d never heard the man so angry. Ten brothers were already up to hold him back. “What do you mean she’s gone?” I asked him.
“No one can find her. I told you she wouldn’t want to share her wedding day. She’s done run off.”
Leviathan came up behind him with a different story. “Girl didn’t leave. She’s been taken. Fucking Gods got her. No one’s manning the gate. They just peeled out of here. I saw them.” He was talking about the very crew he wanted revenge on, wanted to kill. The Asphalt Gods MC in Arkansas had taken Eve on account of her father being one of them. No one had been watching the gate. Our guards were watching me get married.
Leviathan announced, “I’m taking a crew.” Thankfully, I didn’t have to tell him. Levi left with twenty brothers following him.
“Let go of Hallow so he can join the run,” I told the men holding him. “Call the Royal Bastards chapter in Arkansas,” I told Pagan. I turned to Sky and let her know, “I’m heading out too.”
“Go,” she said with no qualms.
Giving her a brief kiss, I knew she’d understand. Sky was going to be a great ol’ lady. I couldn’t wait to get back to her tonight after I kicked some ass.
