“Neo! I’m being kidnapped!” she screamed as if Neo would do anything.
“Coming,” Neo replied and gave me a peace sign with his fingers. “We’ll see you in a bit. Thanks for comforting her.”
He was gone just like that as Willow and Onyx disappeared down the hall, leaving me with Viktor, who finished putting his bullets in his gun.
One look at me and he seemed to get what I wanted to do.
“Should I ask why?”
“Nope,” I replied and cracked my neck. “If Willow wants Papa Dearest at the runway, all we have to do is find the culprit who put Roberto in a coma.”
Viktor was quiet for a moment as he stared back at me.
“Questioning my abilities?” I asked with a smirk.
“No, sadly,” Viktor admitted. “I’m questioning how you’re going to do it in ten minutes.”
“Fifteen.” Now my smile was dangerously sickening as the idea of hunting seemed to feed a crazed part of me that I hadn’t tapped into for a long ass time. “They’re going to fuck in that garden, so I have more than enough time to do a quick game of cat and mouse.”
“Well.” Viktor took the safety off his gun that glowed a vibrant silver. “Lead the way, Prince Milo of the Fae.”
