"T-T-Thank you, Sir William! I'll make them whenever you wish! Even send them from Japan!" she squealed out of happiness.

"Looking forward to it." I turned around with Viktor, my hands slipping into my pockets before I began to walk away and head up the remaining steps. The crowd reignited in praise and shock, a few girls fainting from the mere realization that they hadn't been chosen.

I tried not to do this too often because it took so much time and effort, but I was in a good mood today with my pink-and-white outfit, first ride in my updated pink Royce, lovely morning breakfast with my best friend, and still feeling the lingering touch of Onyx’s lips all over my flesh.

"William! William!" The reporters and paparazzi begged for my attention, but I’d already approached the glass rotating doors as all ten of the guards bowed in unison at our arrival.

Viktor moved first as one of the security men moved right behind me. The three of us entered the building that easily muted the cheers and chants of my name.

We didn't have peace just yet as the shifter reporters that had some sort of connection awaited us, already asking one-hundred and ten questions.

"William De Luca!"

"Sir William, do you believe pixies exist?!"

"Will! What's your relationship with your father?!"

"William, will you take over your father's empire?!"

"Are you a wolf or a vampire?!"

"Will you be attending the shifter awards next year?! You've been nominated top choice already by fans!"

We walked right past, my patience running thin at all the unnecessary questions. Viktor sensed it too, still copying my strides until we were at the key elevators. The servicewoman on duty was already waiting. She used her golden access card on the scanning mechanism that unlocked the golden doors for our arrival.

"Good morning, William De Luca. Your meeting this morning will be postponed by fifteen minutes due to an accident on the highway this morning. Two of our important guests are delayed but will still arrive in the given timeline."

"Excellent," I calmly replied. "Ensure they're checked for any hidden wounds before bringing them up. Alert my father as well so he doesn't waste his valuable time attempting to not be tardy."

"Yes, Sir!" she declared and bowed as Viktor and I walked into the boxed space. The guard that followed us bowed before the doors came to a close.

I finally allowed myself to sigh as I deeply frowned. "That was torturous."

"Says the man who wanted to make our lives into a KPOP drama," Viktor commented, which made me smirk in amusement.

"Felt that vibe?"

"Very much. Are you trying to get the KPOP drama community to add you to the list of must-stalk-now celebrities?”

"They updated that, huh?" I suggested as if it were a normal thing. "Maybe. Having KPOP fans is as powerful as TikTok. You know they manipulated the presidential election thirty years ago. I think it would be fun."

"The cookie was good?"

“It was,” I admitted. "Chocolate glazed oatmeal cookie with a hint of caramel and cinnamon in its texture. They're fresh, meaning she woke earlier to make these and package them in that starry bag. Reminds me of their culture and how they respect others with ease."

"Good point," he replied. "Are you going to order more from her? She seems to have a shop."

I had to side-glance at him to confirm he was on his phone and already gathering information on her.

"Sure," I agreed. "She has a shop?"

"She does."

"You just sold her out, didn't you?"

"I did."

"Sometimes I wonder where the evil in you goes to be able to do such kind things for others," I muttered as the elevator slowed towards the main office floor. "Make sure you get security to make sure she arrives back to her home and country later. She looks like a hybrid."
