"My bad. I got inspired."

"Inspired? What's fucking inspiring you?!" he snapped, which made me have to think fast. "Uh...the painting Aurelia got me?"

He frowned before he looked to the right and his eyes widened at the massive painting on the wall. "Out of all the fucking places, you put it in your bedroom?"

"See, Aurelia put it in my bedroom and she's probably placed some voodoo juju. If you move or touch it, you'll be cursed for the remaining years of your life. So I’d rather we didn’t test that today," I reasoned.

He groaned and muttered, "Fucking Neo. Had to paint a fucking living fantasy."

"What?"

"Nothing," he hissed and looked down at my joggers. "You better have a smaller penis than in that painting!"

My sly grin infuriated him as I replied, "It's on point."

The doorbell rang, and I happily left him there to answer it. Opening it up, I saw that it was Saint with pink package that caught my attention.

"Hey, Saint," I greeted.

He checked me out before he whistled. "Who gave you a hard on, William?" he teased, which made my cheeks begin to swarm with heat as I became flustered. He laughed and walked right in, like he was the owner of this place. "Nice to see you again, William!"

"Are you here to take the trash from my bedroom? If so, please do so now so I have some peace and quiet."

"Peace and quiet? When I'm around, we're partying and drinking," he encouraged as he strolled to my room. I closed and locked the door. Saint's whistle told me he knew what "trash" I was talking about, and he followed with a “Damn!” which confirmed he saw the big-ass painting.

"Well, damn. Sorry for interrupting. I didn't know you two were going to replicate the picture," he hummed.

"Fucking dick. I'll murder you in your sleep!" Dimitris declared in a low growl.

"Now, Dimitris. I know you get along with Neo better, but don’t go hating me. I'm the third favorite brother," Saint whined.

I walked in to see Dimitris scowling, but his eyes landed on the box and he arched an eyebrow. "Where's that from?"

"Don’t know. It was at the door when I arrived," Saint revealed, and that made me frown.

"The only mail cleared to be sent upstairs is this bastard's flowers," I acknowledged and pointed at Dimitris. As much as he wouldn't like to admit it, this was actually the third time he'd sent me flowers to my home, and that didn't include the ones that randomly showed up at the office and my locker.

Our leader has a rose addiction.

My admission had them both frowning before Dimitris scanned the room. "Window!"

I pointed to the only window in the room that could open up. The two of them sprinted there before opening the window and Saint tossed the thing like it was a baseball.

Not a second later, Dimitris had his gun out -one that was perfectly concealed because I didn't notice it at all -and he shot the pink box, which exploded at the first bullet.

Thankfully the item was far enough away that none of the flying debris hit my property or anyone else's.

I’d somehow managed to pull my phone out and press record before they threw the box out, catching everything on camera.

We were silent for a long moment before Dimitris's got on the phone. "Jayce. Get all the footage from this morning and look for a pink box. Tell Neo to meet in the lobby of Willow's place now. I've already told Onyx. Yes. Thanks."

He hung up, but I couldn’t help but ask, "Why didn't you tell Neo and Jayce through the wolf bond you guys have when you told Onyx?"

"Neo's painting, and I don’t like using bonded communication unless someone's actually going to die. As for Jayce, he's in a meeting."

"Well, not anymore," Saint commented and looked at the window. "No one else knocked on the door?"

"Aurelia was here and left when I was showering. If there was mail at the front, she wouldn't have touched it," I reasoned.
