Page 5 of Giving Up

I whimper against the gag and try to push against him, but he grabs my hips to keep me in place. “Good girls wait for it, Angel.”

He pushes a little further and I uncontrollably clench around him, making him hiss with pleasure. “Fuck, you are way too fucking tight. You’d be a saint’s demise, Jamie.”

Further. “But I’m far from a saint,” he chuckles to himself before entering me all the way. It’s harsh enough to make me scream against the gag.

He slides a hand under and pinches my right nipple. The pleasure overwhelming me makes my muscles spasm. He plays with my nipple without moving in me and I desperately try to get some movement in my hips.

“Jake,” I mumble around the gag.

He starts his motion, not fast, but focused. He fucks me relentlessly, bringing me the kind of pleasure I didn’t even know I deserved.

He fucks me with so much love and animosity, the mix of both bringing me to the edge of the cliff.

“Angel,” he growls behind me. “You’re never getting away from me. You’re mine, you hear that?”

I moan a ‘yes’.

“My personal little fuck toy.”

He accelerates the pace and brings his fingers to my clit at the same time. He rubs me with a control I would never have, and I explode against him. I tighten and force his own orgasm out of him.

“Fuck,” he pants as he slows down. “My angel to love forever.”

Except…forever is very short in Jake’s book, isn’t it?

“Jamie, are you listening kiddo?”

I snap my head up from my notebook to look at Coach T. This is embarrassing. My cheeks burn as I try to push memories of Jake and me away. Next to me, Luke tries to help me catch up by tapping on his own notebook, his finger dancing along the words ‘permission slips’.

“Oh, the slips,” I reassure Coach with a smile. “Ciara gave me hers today.” I dig it out of my backpack and hand it to him.

“I’m still missing one,” he insists.

“Yes. Rose’s. She…” I bite my inner cheek. “She…” Was forced by her psychopath of an older brother to sign him as her new guardian and I’m assuming the bastard isn’t planning on signing the permission slip any time soon. “She needs more time. I think.”

Coach T. gives me a look and I know exactly what he’s thinking. We can’t not have Rose in the tournament.

“Jamie.” He pauses to reflect. “How do I put this…” He looks right at me with his hard eyes surrounded by waves of wrinkles. “If we want to win this tournament, I need my two best players. I’ve got your slip. This is my last season. I want this trophy. I won’t lose it to Lady Anne again.”

“I know, Coach. You won’t.”

“Get me Rose’s slip, kiddo. I already lost one White. I want my other scorer.”

“I will, Coach,” I sigh.

“Dismissed,” he grunts as he puts his reading glasses on and grabs a sports magazine that was lying on his desk.

Luke and I get up from our seats and leave Coach Thompson’s office.

Both Jake and Rose missed the first week after the Christmas break. Rose came back.

He didn’t.

He didn’t pick up my calls, he didn’t reply to my texts and, slowly, I stopped trying.

I tried to talk to Rose. She promised me she didn’t know where Jake was. She said it’s just her and Nathan. I didn’t insist. After learning everything Bianco put her through, I don’t see Rose the same way. I’m not saying I see her as a victim. Simply that her list of things to worry about must be a mile long and she doesn’t need me asking questions on top of it all.

It’s sad to see that Chris has become this impassive brick wall and no one can get through to him. He’s been robbed of both his siblings. His best friends.
