The front door closed and Locke stepped into the house. Damian had no idea where he’d been; it was barely eighta.m.

“Time to go,” Lockesaid.

Damian bent his head to kiss Aria, lingering a split second over her lips before steppingaway.

“See youtonight.”

She smiled. “See youtonight.”

He was following Locke through the front door when she spokeagain.

“Damian?”

“Yeah?”

“Gethim.”

He nodded and closed the door behindhim.
