“Well, I’ll be damned…”

He crossed his arms over his muscular chest, frowning. Another species of shifters in Angel Fire… Did the clan know about this? Did the coyotes?

Ivo knew now that there were hundreds of thousands of shifter species in the world—if there was an animal, there was probably a shifter version too. But Angel Fire had been pretty set with the two types for as long as he could remember, and the bears and coyotes tended to respect the territory lines.

Their inner animals had no desire to interact in the wild, and the town itself belonged primarily to the bear clan. As far as Ivo knew, the coyotes made up the farmers and ranchers out in the countryside surrounding Angel Fire, keeping their distance from town unless absolutely necessary.

And now there were bighorn sheep. Where the hell did their territory extend to?

He scanned the wilderness around him. Hell, he’d probably walked right into bighorn sheep territory. And there they were to greet him and let him know they didn’t take kindly to intruders.

Ivo smirked and then slowly strolled in the direction of the bighorns, pleased that there was finally something he knew first, something that Miguel and the rest of the clan didn’t.

Ha. So there, Mr. Bigshot Alpha. So. There.
