He started to ease his finger in and out while I begged him to stop. I didn’t want this—not now. I wasn’t ready, but he didn’t care.

“No, Sebastian! Please … stop.” I gasped, but my protests and pleas only seemed to fuel him more.

Lowering himself down over me, he took my right breast into his mouth and sucked hard on the nipple. The intensity of all these assaults and the fact that he was fucking me with his fingers at the same time made me unwillingly aroused. And that alone broke me into a million pieces. My sex was throbbing but the alarms kept going off inside my head. He was violating me in the worst way, yet, I was responding to that in a manner I despised.

I arched my head backwards and a moan escaped me. He was as strong as a beast, his grip like steel.

“I am going to fuck you hard now. Tell me you want it?” he asked, pulling away and grabbing me by the hair, forcing me to look at him.

My breathing was coming in short, ragged pants, and my heart jackhammered inside my chest. He withdrew his fingers from my pussy and now, he was circling his thumb over my clit, massaging it.

Tears started streaming down my eyes and a sob poured out of me. He couldn’t be doing this. Taking me against my will. My body might like what he was doing but my mind and heart did not.

“Let me go,” I cried, my voice weak. Another laugh was his only reply. A cruel, cold sound, as though he was enjoying hurting me. Raping me.

Then, he finally stopped touching me and brought his fingers to his mouth. He smelled them first, inhaling deeply with his eyes closed, then started licking them.

“You’re such a whore, Marinka, teasing me with your body and your smart mouth. I’m going to fuck you so hard, to remind you that there was never anyone else before me. You were always mine,” he growled.

Soon, he was pinning me down with his huge body and I started punching at his chest, doing my damnedest to push him off me, but he held me effortlessly with one hand, while removing his pants with the other. Before I knew it, he was forcing my legs apart, telling me that he had waited long enough and couldn’t wait to fuck me.

I begged, pleaded, screamed, cried out, hit him harder … to no avail. He thrust his huge erection into me, so roughly it hurt. I despaired, full of pain and humiliation, as he held my chin in a vice grip and pounded his huge cock into me.

My own husband was raping me and I was hopeless. Nothing I could do, because I was a prisoner of my own body.

A prisoner of Sebastian Dimitrei.

CHAPTER9

Sebastian

I wentto see Milo and he confirmed everything Sparky had said. Someone started a fire in two of our clubs. I was certain that Gino was involved, but after I went to the place and spoke to a few people, I was no longer so certain.

Business was booming. The Russians were delivering the products as we’d agreed, but in the past few months, I had been distancing myself from them. The main man I’d dealt with, Marcus Petrovsky, was dead—shot in Mexico City, his body parts sent to his family. This prompted the Russians to plan a restructure of the whole operation. They wanted to expand more to the west, but I wasn’t willing to make another deal with them. I felt we were going in different directions, and although Marcus was crazy in his own right, I had a bad feeling about this.

Now, I had Lilly to think about, and Marinka. I had to keep things under control.

Everything seemed to be happening fast after Marcus’s death, and I didn’t think it was a coincidence that Sofia wanted to see me. She must have taken over the leadership from her father’s cousin, Marcus, after his death, and for certain, she had his whole family’s support. She was always ambitious, and a long time ago, when we were together, she’d claimed that one day she was going to inherit the business from her Marcus, by hook or by crook.

“I don’t want Sparky to show up at the house unannounced. Russina doesn’t remember anything and I am trying to ease her off into this new life, before I throw her into the deep end,” I told Milo, my other brother, after we left the club and got into the car together.

He looked sullen. After all, we’d lost a lot of money and good product because of that fire. Someone was trying to bury us. After Gino believed he shot Marinka, he disappeared for a while. One of my men shot two of his closest associates, but that was as far as we went. Between Lilly, dealing with Marinka’s care, and the business, I had to let it all go.

Milo rubbed his huge palms together and sighed. He looked exhausted. We all had a lot on our minds lately. I knew I’d made a mistake to deal with the Russians the moment Marcus was killed. Now I understood why my brothers had been so reluctant to do business with them. They just couldn’t be trusted.

“I will talk to him, but we might need to get Russina on board, too, especially if the Russians are to blame,” he told me.

I knew exactly what he was talking about, but this was all too soon. Marinka wasn’t ready—she’d only just been discharged from the hospital. Everything we had was now lost and we needed to start over, rekindle the old emotions. I couldn’t ask her to pretend to be Russina again. This would be too much for her to handle.

“She’s not ready and we don’t know if the Russians had anything to do with this,” I snapped, knowing that sooner or later, I’d have to make some drastic decisions.

“Get her ready then, or things might escalate. We need to figure out who wants to destroy us and why,” he said.

Milo had three older daughters who were about to venture into the world on their own. They weren’t interested in their father’s business. We were all aware of the risks we had to take, but Milo’s daughters were adamant to have different lives. He was worried about his family, and now so was I. Despite Gino, the Italians had always been the safer options, but I didn’t listen. Marcus had managed to gain my trust and then, he was killed.

My brother dropped me off outside the penthouse building, where I’d parked my car earlier and spent an hour working in my sixteenth-floor office before meeting him. I lost track of time when we were in the club. Getting in the car, I drove back home, riddled with heavy thoughts. I’d never intended to come home so late. When I glanced at my watch, I realized that it was past midnight when I pulled up into the garage.

First, I went to visit Lilly. She had always been a good sleeper but I made a habit of checking on her ever since she was a baby. I cracked the door to her room open to confirm she was fast asleep, then shut it quietly.
