Today they matched. He wore a black button-down shirt with his sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and Bree had a sexy little black dress on. It wasn’t too short. It came well over mid thigh, but it accented those strong thighs, and her firm arse clung to the fabric of her dress.

“I’m so nervous, Dec. You’ll have to tell them about the twins. I’ll just stand next to you and smile.”

He laughed and shook his head. She was in for a surprise. That made him also nervous as hell. He glanced over once more. “Okay, Love,” he said.

He parked the truck behind Duncan’s truck and walked over to Bree’s side to help her out.

“Come, Love.”

She put her hand in his, and he fetched her out of the truck by supporting her.

“Thanks, Dec.”

“Anything for my lovely ladies.”

“Oooh, did you place a bet in the Baby Pool?” Bree smiled.

“Not yet, but after tonight I will. I’m sure Pops will agree. I have a feeling about us having two girls. I can’t wait to have them in my arms. And to chase all those boys away.”

She stood on her tiptoes and kissed his smiling lips.

“What’s that for?”

“For being such a loving father already. After last night, you know how much it means to me I can count on you.”

His heart pounded and he couldn’t wait to get her inside and out into the backyard.

“What’s wrong?”

He cleared his throat and took a slight step back. “Nothing, absolutely nothing, Love.”

Bree narrowed her blue eyes at him but held her tongue.

He grabbed her hand and led her to the front door where he rang the doorbell. As they waited for someone to open up, he checked his phone one last time.

RO: Where are you?

RO: We’re freezin’ our arses off while ye and yer missus are still rollin’ ‘round in bed?

RO: It’s a good thing we’re only doin’ this once.

“Who’s that?” Bree said as she nudged her chin toward Dec’s phone.

He quickly put it back in his jeans. “Oh, nothing.”

She whirled around and just as she was going to lay it on him thick; the door opened and Errin greeted them.

“Yay, there you are! Come inside, we’ve been waiting all day! I’m soo betting on a boy!”

“Hello to you too, Errin.”

“Hi, Dec.” Errin winked at him while giving him two thumbs up. He willed her with his eyes to act normal. As normal as Errin could act, that is.

“What’s going on with you, Dec?” Bree asked.

“Nothing, Love.”

“If you say ‘nothing’ one more time, I’m going to scream.” Bree hissed while they followed Errin out into the backyard.
