“Looks like we are going to Africa, baby.”

Chapter 30

Camilla

Today was the day.I was getting married today. I woke up with only a couple hours of rest because I couldn't fall asleep. I was a little nervous about today. I was not having doubts, but I was nervous. I got up, and we headed to the salon. I got my hair done in an updo and makeup done classy and headed to the venue. When we got there, it was beautiful. There were flowers everywhere and a white arch that we would be standing under during the ceremony. I put my dress on, and I knew it was getting close to the time for the ceremony to start.

I hadn't seen Sebaistan or Jonathan yet. I hoped they weren’t late. Fears about him having second thoughts shot through me. He’d had some bad relationships in the past, but our relationship had conquered anything I could imagine a relationship to be. He had truly made me the happiest girl on earth. I tried to call Sebastian and Jonathan, but they didn’t answer. Maybe they were just running late? Calm down. It was going to be okay. He would be here. He wouldn’t do that to me. Would he?

About twenty minutes later, I heard Sebastian and Jonathan laughing walking down the hallway and a knock on the door. I didn't open the door because I didn't want him to see me yet.

"Yes?"

"It’s too late to back out now. The ceremony is about to start. Just wanted to tell you I love you. See you soon gorgeous."

I heard the music start, and it was time to walk down the aisle. I took a deep breath, and I walked out the door and headed down the corridor. Sebastian stared at me with a smile on his face, and I couldn't help but smile real big.

I made my way down the aisle to the arch and stood in front of Sebastian. I gazed into his eyes and no nervousness was present.

"Camilla Lynn Cade, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold until death do you part?"

"I do."

"Sebastian Aaron Ridgway, do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold until death do you part?"

"I do."

"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride!"

Sebastian pulled me close and kissed me hard. He didn’t want to let go of me.

We didn’t want to have a long wedding reception because we were ready to go on our honeymoon. All that’s left was the speeches from the Best Man and Maid of Honor. Abigail’s up first.

“Hi, if you don’t already know me my name is Abigail. I’ve been best friends with Camilla since 7th grade. We always found our way back together. We’ve always shared a special connection which cannot be broken by distance. Next, I would like to tell you how I met the groom. I met Sebastian through my husband, Jonathan. They became best friends in high school and were roommates. Sebastian is a down to earth respectable guy, and I know he will treat her like a queen like she is meant to be. “Hi, my name’s Jonathan. When we first met each other, we didn’t necessarily like each other. The first time I met Camilla was at a poker party held at my house. She came in, and was uncomfortable and that is when Sebastian went over and rescued the damsel in distress. He couldn’t stand her sitting all alone. He is a nice guy. I could tell the moment they met they were right for each other. They sparked an instant connection that was undeniable even if they tried for months to deny it to themselves. They are two of the best people I know, and I’m glad they found each other. Congratulations on your marriage, Camilla and Sebastian. I hope it is long and full of love.”

We decided to book our honeymoon to Panama City Beach, FL. I had never been, and he always said I could pick where we went on our honeymoon. When we arrived, we went straight to the couple's massage that I had booked for us. It was glorious and relaxing—the perfect way to start off our honeymoon. It was after lunch by the time we got back to the hotel room. We decided to take a shower to get all the massage oils off our skin. Playfully, we got each other all soapy, and then we sprayed each other down with water. I almost slipped, but he caught me and smiled as he said, “Careful.”
