I watch as her and her little family walk away, leaving the beach and I catch myself wondering what it would be like to have kids. Except for them and us, the beach is pretty empty which is nice and with their departure, it only leaves me and the guys out there in the water or so I think.
I hear a deep chuckle come up from behind me. “That’s what you get for falling asleep on the beach.”
I turn around and smile. “You’re just jealous of my tan because you’re pale as a ghost.”
“Hey!” Calder laughs. “I’m not pale.”
I raise my brow at him with a smile. “If you say so.”
He picks up my coconut and takes a sip from it. “Where’s the alcohol?” he shudders. “This is just sugar.”“I’m trying to be good,” I say.
He laughs before taking his shirt off. “Come take a swim with me.”
I run my hand over the bandage on his stomach. “Are you sure you can get that wet?” I ask.
“Yes,” he says, pulling me to my feet and pretending not to wince as it seems he pulled too hard.
“Cal,” I say in a reprimanding tone. “You should go inside and rest.”
“I’m fine,” he says as he throws me over his shoulder. “I’m so tired of being cooped up in the house all day and as you said, I need a tan.” He pauses as he holds me. “Oh, shit. How’re your ribs?” he asks in complete panic.
I start laughing. “Will you stop fussing? The doctor confirmed that they weren’t broken, just bruised. I’m a lot better off than you are.”
“You’re the one who should stop fussing,” he says as he starts running into the ocean, yelling at Mikhail and Axel, laughing before dunking me into the water.
I come up with a gasp, rubbing my hair out of my face. “Oh, I’m gonna!” I start before my words are cut off by his wet kiss. Mmm. Salty sea water has never tasted so good. The kissing becomes deeper and more passionate. I pause to make sure that the beach is still empty as his hand comes up to caress my breast. Grateful there’s no one around, I sigh, throwing arms around his neck. The warmth of the sun and the coolness of the water fills my body with delight and makes the extra hands that swoop in to grab hold of me, touching me in all the right places, so much sweeter.
I break the kiss to find Axel and Mikhail behind me and I bite my lips in pleasure as I remove my bikini panty, taking turns to kiss them before I close my legs around Calder’s hips.
