He quickly reached into his nightstand drawer and pulled out a condom, putting it on as she watched, then stretched out above her, holding his weight on his forearms as she wrapped her legs around his hips, his tip poised at her wet entrance. It felt so good. She felt so good. He bent to kiss her again, his chest tight with emotion he wasn’t ready to label.
Not love.
It couldn’t be love.
Could it?
She arched against him, urging him onward, and Chandler slid into her slowly, carefully, until he was fully inside her. He held still to let her adjust to his size, the moment oddly tender.
More confusing emotions swirled inside him, but he refused to be distracted now, not when he’d waited so long for this. Eden pulled him down for another kiss and he moved with her, thrusting small and slow first, then gradually building to a steady rhythm that had them both on the brink of ecstasy far too soon.
“Are you close, darling?’ he whispered against her neck.
“Yes,” Eden strained upward, as if searching for, needing more. “Please, Chandler. I…”
He reached between them to stroke her most sensitive flesh, and bam. Her body tightened around his and she arched hard into him, eyes closed and cheeks flushed as she came again. It was too much for Chandler. It would never be enough. He groaned and thrust once, twice, before his balls tightened and his toes clenched and suddenly everything went bright as wave after wave of exquisite pleasure washed over him.
They floated on an ocean of contentment, holding each other in a tangle of limbs and kisses and sighs. When he finally cracked open an eye and glanced up at her face from where his head lay between her breasts, Eden smiled tiredly down at him, her fingers gently playing with his hair.
“Wow…” she said.
“Agreed,” he replied, kissing her stomach before moving up to lie beside her and pulling her into his side. He wasn’t usually a cuddler, but after the night they’d had, they both deserved a little comfort.
And it felt right to hold her like that. So. Damn. Right.
