This was not the coupling they’d had in the past. This was not fast or rough, but deeper, more powerful, and the release building inside Mina threatened to break her in two.
Then Erik’s kiss trailed over her neck. She tensed for the bite, but it didn’t come. He pivoted his hips into a new angle, and the moment her release hit he sank his teeth into the soft flesh at the swell of her breast.
Mina felt a slight sting, but the pain vanished behind the blinding power of her climax. Her body shook, her hips moving in phantom thrusts. Her mind flooded with emotions. Her own and his. She felt his love pouring through the bite as he thrust and drank from her.
For a moment it felt as if she’d never come down again, and then he pulled away from her chest, licking the wounds briefly before he met her gaze.
His lips here stained red, and his eyes dark, but his fangs were gone. “Are you okay?”
“Beyond okay.” She chuckled, pushing up to kiss him. She tasted the copper tang of her blood on his lips, but it didn’t bother her.
“Mina, I need to…I’m not…” he trailed off moving his hips in explanation.
“Take what you need,” she said, gently scratching at his sides as she slid her hands around to his back.
He smiled against her lips and picked up his pace, drawing her with him towards another release. Her muscles clenched tighter and tighter; her toes curled as her hips met him thrust for thrust.
Slipping one hand between them, he circled his fingers around her clit. “Come with me.”
Mina gasped against his lips, and with one last hard thrust, she exploded around him as he emptied himself inside her.
Kissing him, she whispered. “I love you.”
