Cornell raised an eyebrow. “What’s sexy?”
“When a guy doesn’t pretend to be all big and tough and acknowledges he has feelings.”
“I am big and tough,” he playfully reminded Ali, narrowing his gaze.
“And a softy,” Ali added with a smile. “My favorite softy.”
“What? Are you telling me you don’t want me because of my body?” Cornell quipped.
She bit her lip before kissing him. “At first, maybe. But I kept you because of your big heart.”
