“This isn’t funny, bikes are dangerous, and you could have been seriously hurt.” The concern in her voice is assuring, with everything that has happened I wasn’t sure if she actually liked me. Raising my hands to cup her cheeks, I lower my head to take her lips in a possessive but gentle kiss. I can’t stay away from her any longer. I need her to know that I want her.

The kiss is all consuming, leaving both of us wanting more when I finally lift my head. Her eyes are half closed in passion. Her lips red and swollen from the kiss. Her breathing is choppy, as if she has just run a mile.

“Damn, you’re a good kisser,” she whispers and then immediately her cheeks flush, telling me that she didn’t mean to blurt that out.

“You bring it out of me,” I tease with a wink.

“I see you are a sweet talker, too.” Before I can answer, there is a knock on the door. Sighing, I turn to open the door for Bion.

When he sees me, his eyes widen. “Looks like she can electrocute you after all,” he teases.

“Very funny,” I grunt, as I hear Siena laugh at his joke.

“Should I even ask?”

His question has me shaking my head as I unzip my Kutte and move to lay it down on the bed before looking down at my jeans. “I will clean those out before I start with your woman.”

“They’re fine.”

“No, they not, you need to have them cleaned, you can get an infection,” Siena’s passionate cry has my eyes turning towards her displeased face. “Tell him, Bion.” Being an Elemental, it’s not very likely that I will get an infection from this, but I like having her worry about me, so I won’t be the one to disappoint her.

“It won’t hurt, I promise. I will even give you a lollipop after.”

I raise my hand, showing Bion the finger.

“Come on, let’s do this. Enough talk.” I slide my arm under Siena’s knees and the other behind her back. “Are you ready?” I ask, before lifting her.

“Not really, but it’s fine.”

Supporting her back as much as possible, I bring her leg up, pulling her close against my chest. Hearing her gasp in pain makes me hate myself for inflicting it on her, even if it was necessary.

“Lead the way. Where did you set up?” I ask.

“You will see.” We head down the corridor and then turn towards the meeting room.

“No way, you set up in Church?” Tor isn’t going to like that, he is very protective of certain things at the club, one of them is his hand-crafted oak meeting table with all the element symbols engraved on it.

“Yeah,” Bion replies, glancing back at us with a grin. “Do you think Tor will mind?”

“You did this on purpose. He is going to have a fit.” I shake my head in amusement. “You better hope he doesn’t ban you from the club.”

“Nah, he likes me too much,” Bion teases as we walk in.

I see that he has placed a sheet over the table with a pillow on the far end.

“Place her stomach down, with her head to that side.” He directs as he walks towards a haversack he has on a chair.

“Shouldn’t there be a heart monitor, or blood, in case I need a transfusion or something?” I can hear the panic in Siena’s voice as she sees the set up.

“Don’t worry, baby girl, you are safer with Bion then any high-class surgeon.” I can still see the doubt in her eyes when I sit her on the table. Lowering my head, I kiss her forehead, hating to see see her frightened expression.

“Are you going to stay here?” she whispers, making a knot tighten in my stomach. She trusts me—trusts me more than Bion, and she wants me here with her, which means that I give her comfort and confidence.

“Nothing could drag me away,” I promise as I help her off with her T-shirt and then I help her lie down, turning her onto her stomach. Leaning over the table, I unhook her bra, hating the fact that another man will see her half naked.

I stand up straight, moving to the head of the table by her head. Placing my hand on her head, I stroke gently, trying to relax her nerves as much as possible. The scar and metal dial are stark against her pale skin, marring the silky smoothness.

Aldor is responsible for this. His evilness is the reason why she needs to go through all of this. I want to kill Aldor, but so does every other Elemental. I understand evil. I’ve even seen a lot of it throughout my very long life, but what he is responsible for is different. What is his purpose in doing this? In building an army of enhanced men? “Here, sweetheart, chew on this, please,” Bion says as he pops what looks like a sugar sweet into her mouth.
