Azura moaned softly, then tore herself away from his mouth.

“Oh, my,” she said with a grin. “I need to sit down for a second.”

Onyx guided her to the bench behind them. He was dizzy from their collision and felt instantly irritated when his phone rang. He sighed through gritted teeth when he saw that it was a business partner.

“I’ve got to take this,” he said. “Can I take you to your room upstairs?”

Azura shook her head, looking dozy and pleasantly flushed.

“I can find my way, don’t you worry.”

Onyx stood, hating that their kiss had been so quick, like a shooting star in the sky. He wanted to linger all over her.
