She examined the dolls again, raising each one and inspecting their curvy figures. Eventually she gathered all the little mothers and daughters in her lap and hugged them.

“When did you have the time to paint these?” Her voice was croaky with emotion. “It must’ve taken hours.”

“Imade time. Iwanted to give my special someone something special.”

She leaned forward, held my face with both her hands, and kissed me. Aclose-lipped kiss, athank-you kiss. Ididn’tlet her pull away and grabbed her by the hips, dolls scattering all over the mattress in aseries of clinking sounds with Erin straddling me.

Her kiss, her taste, as brief as it was, elicited warmth that made my dick hard. Ienveloped her in my arms, one wrapped around her waist as the other rose to her neck, pinning her to me from top to bottom. We sat same as we were all those weeks ago when Idared to kiss her for the first time, but today Iknew I’dmake it last.

Erin ran her fingers through my hair, massaging my scalp, as she sucked the air out of me with her fervent kisses. Iheld her tight, letting her feel how hard she made me with the thin fabric of our underwear separating us, kissing her back with everything Ihad.

Suddenly she withdrew from me, breathing heavily. “I, uh, actually have agift for you too. Acharcoal drawing.”

“For me?” Ipaused, eaten by curiosity. Agift from Erin meant more than anything money could buy, even more so that she drew it—the artform she used to view as debilitating. No diamond or jewel could top that.

“Yes, it’sright here. Wait.” She hopped from my lap and sauntered to the duffle bag she had yet to unpack.

Abag that was placed strategically on the carpet, abag she needed to bend down to in order to withdraw the gift. Abend that in turn hitched her shirt up her body, revealing her sweet round butt that her black lace panties hardly covered.

While she shuffled through her clothes, I’dbeen minutes away from un-waiting for her, ready to throw her request out the window and launch at her. But Iwas still curious, and above all, Irespected her wishes.

Tearing my gaze from someone had never been this challenging.

The bed creaking lightly told me she was back, otherwise I’dbeen sitting there staring at the safe, white ceiling.

“Did you see aspider?” She sounded wary.

“Sorry?”

“Up there.” Her finger was directed to where Ilooked. “They visit me sometimes. Thought you saw one.”

“No, no spiders, just me holding back from taking you here on the floor.” The honest answer came out naturally.

Erin hadn’tbeen phased in the slightest, adevious smile emerging on her face. “Afew more minutes and you’ll have me anyway you want,” she replied with the same bluntness Iloved, since Iwanted her to be comfortable enough to tell me anything. “But first this.”

On the outside Ilooked calm, accepting the gift slowly, while on the inside the knots of excitement, of her doing this for me, returned and threatened to choke me. “Thank you, but you didn’thave to.”

“It’sjust asmall token, nothing too crazy.”

“Still.” My hand caressed her swan-like neck. “I’mgrateful, but Itold you, Iwanted this trip to be about spending time with your family.”

“Yes, Iremember you telling me you’dgrade papers at 2 AM, you nut.” She stroked my thigh affectionately. “Iwould’ve never let you do that.”

Istarted to protest, wanting to say Iwould’ve done it if it meant being around her mom and brother more, when she raised ahand to stop me. “No family members were harmed in the process. Now open it, I’mdying to know what you think.”

With great consideration, as to not shake the charcoal, Iunwrapped it, revealing the portrait of…me. She drew me.

The whole world halted while Igawked at the very lifelike drawing, adrawing that transpired so many emotions. In the technical sense, she sketched it to perfection, but there was more to it. She saw me as if Ihad ahalo of light surrounding me.

“Ihad it framed for you.” She twisted the sheets when Iswallowed, unable to form acoherent response. “It’stotally okay if you don’tlike it though; you don’thave to hang it anywhere.”

“Erin, Iwould be beyond proud to hang this on my wall.” The more Ilooked at it, the more the threat to be choked by it became areality. “I’ddo it this minute if we were at my place.”

“You really think so?” She peeked at me through one eye.

“You’re really asking that?” Igrazed her cheek, her hope and adorable smile filling my lungs instead of air.

Then, not stopping there because Isimply couldn’t, Iskimmed my hand down her body, from her arm to the sheet, interlacing our fingers and bringing them to my chest, to the heart she stirred awake. “Thank you, it means alot. More than you’ll ever know. Did you draw it from memory?”
