I push Arlo away from me. "Good. There's more popcorn in the cupboard. I'll bring you back lasagna if you complete your cleaning tasks."

I settleinto my limousine seat, adjusting my expensive watch on my wrist as I let my eyes drift out the window. People and landmarks whir past me as my driver Leonardo steps on the gas, taking me to the Upper East Side.

My cock is hard, and my limbs are restless. I fight off the feelings bubbling up within me.

"This is absurd." I pull my Glock out of my suit coat and lock it in my limo's safe. "I've never fallen this hard for a boy before. I shouldn't care about his medical condition or his problems."

My family's Mafia empire and my billions of dollars in the stock market require my constant supervision. I don't have time for a boy.

Yet as I think of my beautiful angel watching a sweet movie on Webflix, and perhaps spilling yummy treats all over the sofa, I can't help but sigh. In the living room, when he thrust his arms around me, I lost my bearings. His slim body fit so perfectly against mine, and every fiber of my being reacted when his cock throbbed in his green undies.

Arlo lights me up inside. I figured as much at the Little Bunny Club, but seeing him half-naked only solidifies that in my mind.

I pull out my phone and check my brokerage account as Leonardo takes me to the restaurant.

"Fuck."

My stocks are down another twenty dollars from their recent fifty-two-week lows. My new tech stocks are also performing abysmally. I bought put options after a hedge fund buddy of mine tipped me off that he was taking a massive short position. But I sold my options last week and missed out on some gains.

I text my broker to put five million dollars on the other side of the trade, so I can make money when the stock bounces back up.

At last, Leonardo pulls up to Barbieri's. "You're here, sir."

I slide my phone into my pocket and step out of the limousine. "Thank you." I slip Leonardo a hundred-dollar bill as he closes my door.

This is something I do with my workers. I pay my employees six figures to be constantly on call for me, but I tip them, too.

I spot Gianluca sitting at a window table when I enter Barbieri's.

"You're late." My brother glares at me and taps his watch.

I lift my eyes and look at my older brother. At six-foot-three, he's a fitting picture of masculinity. His jaw is chiseled and sharp, and his black eyes are specked with gold. His muscles bulge in his suit coat, attesting to the countless hours he spends at the gym.

But I know my brother's body isn't only because of the gym. He's a mob doctor. He cleans up our soldiers who incur injuries and nurses them back to health. He needs to stay fit to perform his duties in high-risk locations.

I sit. "Someone held me up."

My older brother picks up his ice water. "Who?" He doesn't believe me. "The only other person in your life is your maid. I doubt you started a new Daddy relationship with her."

That's the thing about my family. We know details about each other's romantic lives. Nothing is off-limits. I'm aware my brother wants nothing to do with love after his ex-girlfriend cheated on him. She hooked up with his mortal enemy. My other brothers and I tell him he should try boys, but he refuses. He insists he's straight.

I pick up the menu. "It's the boy from the Little Bunny Club last night."

This gets Gianluca's attention. He ticks his eyes up.

"The ouchie boy." Gianluca says this matter-of-factly. "I'm not surprised."

"His name is Arlo." I blow out a breath as I study the menu. "He's super cute."

"That's good to hear."

"How's your dating life going?" I grit my teeth.

Gianluca beckons the server over and taps the strip steak on the menu. "I don't have any interest in relationships. I'm focused on work."

This is a lie. My older brother works like a demon, but he'd be happier with a new partner, even if it's dangerous.
