Page 27 of Her Royal Bodyguard

Every night for the past few weeks they had done a similar dance. Alexandra texting late on and requesting her company. Then losing themselves in each other’s bodies for hours.

How she was going to cope with Alexandra spending the evening with her future husband, she did not know.

She brought her right hand to her lips and smelt the potency of Alexandra’s sex. She licked her fingers clean, tasting every bit of Alexandra’s come.

She tipped her head back and sighed loudly.

Princess Alexandra. What are you doing to me?

“Nicolas, so lovely to see you again.” Alexandra was effusive in her greeting and dazzling in her long blue dress.

“And you, you look so very beautiful Princess. It is an honour to have you and your family to stay with us. You are absolutely glowing.” Nicolas looked at her intently, yet kindly with his pale eyes. Nicolas was impeccably presented in suit of the darkest navy blue, which coincidentally matched her dress very well.

She smiled to herself. Glowing because of the incredible orgasm her bodyguard had just given her.

“Mother. Father.” Erin greeted her parents warmly as they approached.

“Alexandra. Always a pleasure,” said King George. “And Prince Nicolas. A pleasure to make your acquaintance. I look forward to knowing you further.”

Alexandra tuned herself out to the small talk. She could do it in her sleep. Polite. Friendly. Dazzling when she smiled. Interested in everyone. She gave them all what they wanted from her as her thoughts strayed to thoughts of Erin and she felt her own wetness trickle down her inner thighs.

The dinner passed uneventfully. She learnt more about Nicolas and his family as dinner finished and everyone dispersed, Nicolas and Alexandra were left at the table alone talking for hours. She liked him. They got on well together.

“Alexandra, will you come back with me to my rooms? I would very much like to spend some time alone with you.”

“Of course,” she responded, almost warily, hoping more than anything that he didn’t try and touch her.

“Your apartment is lovely, Nicolas.” Alexandra took in the bold masculine decor and was happy to praise him. She took her gin and sat on the large dark grey sofa that dominated the room.

“So,” said Nicolas as he sat down next to her. He only had a marginal accent. His English was as proper as Alexandra’s own. “I would like to discuss the matter in hand with you, if that is okay?”

Alexandra nodded.

“The possibility of our marriage is something that I would be very happy about Alexandra. I am not deluded enough to think that my status is in any way in the same league as your own, however I do think that I would make the perfect compliment to you. Between us we would make such a royal power couple. I’ll add enough status, but never too much that it would in any way eclipse your own light. I want to stand beside you as you become Queen, Alexandra. I am happy to always be in the background. To always live in your shadow.”

“How do you feel about children Nicolas? I understand my father’s advisor has requested that you undergo some tests?”

“Yes. And I have. My sperm is of good quality. There should be no reason it could not be used to create a pregnancy. And I want children. Deeply. My main focus for marriage is to continue both of our family lines. As I am sure it is for you too.”

“Yes. Very much so. My family and my country. They both need this. They both need this from me.” Alexandra sighed.

“Alexandra, there is something I want to address. It is difficult for me to speak about, but I feel we must be open with each other.”

Alexandra raised her eyes to him, curious to hear what he was about to say.

“I think you are only interested in this marriage purely as an arrangement. I can sense that you aren’t interested in a love with me. I can sense that you aren’t interested in me in that way.”

“Wait, er.. .I am. I er… I….”

“Let me speak,” Nicolas continued. “Let me speak openly, and I would appreciate if you would do me the honour and respect of speaking honestly in return. The thing is, this is precisely why I am so keen to marry you. I consider myself largely asexual. I have no real interest in sex or romance. Our marriage would be very much for the public eye. I would like to have a strong friendship with you and I would love more than anything to become a father, although this may have to be achieved artificially. I would always be very respectful of you and I don’t have any other sinister secrets, other than this. Lack of interest in sex is a little embarrassing really. Not very manly. I would dearly like to marry and bear children in the hope that my shame never be shown to the world. I realise that this is a lot to take on board and I very much encourage you to take your time and have a think about this from your point of view and consider if this is a life that you would choose. I don’t know your motivations for wanting this arrangement, but I assume you have your own reasons for wanting a marriage with someone you aren’t in love with. I don’t need to know them now. However, all I ask is your honesty and respect.”

Alexandra was taken aback by his openness and she sat for a moment reflectively.

“Thank you for your openness Nicolas. I can assure you, your words will go no further. You are right in that I am not in love with you, nor do I have interest in you in that way. And I find myself relieved at the realisation that our potential children would be conceived artificially. I have my reasons, which I am not ready to discuss just yet and I am not sure that I ever will be. However, I am so grateful for the kindness and respect you have shown me throughout and they are qualities in you that stand out for me in my search for a husband. Let me think about your words. Let me think about our possible future together.”

Nicolas smiled and touched her hand. “Thank you very much Alexandra. I appreciate your confidentiality and I genuinely see a great future between us.”
