“Four minutes it says.” She watched the image of the car on the map on her screen. Needed to focus on something practical. Something that wasn’t Alexandra and the fact she had just kissed her. Just kissed the Princess. Was she insane? Erin felt lust coursing through her body and pooling between her legs. She couldn’t look at Alexandra. She looked out of their doorway for people, for possible danger. She looked to her phone at the Uber app.

“Nearly here,” she said and she took Alexandra’s hand leading her out on the street to meet the car. Her eyes darted up and down the street. The street was safe. They weren’t followed. She opened the door and put the Princess safely inside and then walked around the car and got in herself. She sat in the dark back seat and closed her eyes momentarily and sighed as the car began to head back to where they had left their Range Rover.

“God, that was crazy. We were lucky. I cannot believe that all happened.” Erin said as the adrenaline began to crash and she felt like they were safe.

Alexandra’s delicate hand reached across in the dark and held Erin’s.

Her voice was vulnerable and childlike and full of gratitude. “Thank you for saving me,” she said for the second time that night.

Erin closed her eyes and mentally berated herself for the stupidity of the risks she had taken that night. In amongst the frustration at herself, other moments crept into her thoughts. Flashes back to the kiss. The passion. The all encompassing desire she had felt for the Princess. The Princess asking Erin to kiss her. What on earth did this all mean?

Alexandra and Erin snuck back in to the palace like naughty schoolgirls, under cover of darkness.

“Spend some time with me?” Alexandra asked, much more herself now she was home, it was an order as much as it was a request. She headed straight into her drawing room and Erin followed like a loyal dog.

Alexandra went to her room and emerged after a couple of minutes wearing the same silk Pyjamas that Erin had seen before. Silk lounge pants and a thin ivory silk vest top with thin straps. Her eyes were striking blue again and her hair was brushed back from her face. She had never looked more desirable.

She headed over to a drinks cabinet and fridge and poured them both a gin and tonic. Tonic fizzing over ice. She handed a crystal glass to Erin.

As Erin took a deep drink she was glad of it. Glad she had stayed sober all evening but glad to taste the burning of the liquor on her tongue. She shrugged off her leather jacket and her gun and sat awkwardly on the sofa not knowing what on earth was supposed to happen next.

“I feel so safe with you.” Alexandra sipped her own drink as she walked restlessly around the big room. “Thank you so much for tonight. You have no idea what it means to me; how much I enjoyed it; how free I felt.”

“They might find out, you know. If they find out, I’ll lose my job. I committed the absolute worst sin a bodyguard can commit, I disregarded all security protocol, I went out without backup. Nobody knew where we were.”

“Why did you do it?” Alexandra asked as she stood silhouetted in the wide window.

“I find it impossible to say no to you,” Erin replied honestly.

“You won’t lose your job. I won’t let them replace you. You are everything I want in my personal security. Everything I need. I won’t let them take you from me, be assured of that.” Alexandra’s blue eyes fixed her in an intense gaze. “Come over here. See out of these windows, the view of the city at night.”

Erin stood and walked over to the windows and immediately felt something with the closeness to the Princess. An electric chemistry sparking between them. She looked out of the window seeing the darkness of the palace grounds and then lights of the city behind them and the moon up above in a clear sky.

Alexandra stood close to her. Too close. Erin could smell the delicate feminine perfume on her.

Alexandra stood in front of her facing her and her breathing quickened. Alexandra snaked her hand up to Erin’s face and lightly pushed her hair behind her ear then ran her fingers up to Erin’s eyebrow touching a faint scar just above her eyebrow.

“What happened here?” she asked.

Erin could see straight down her loose fitting silk vest from this angle and it was the most distracting view. Alexandra’s breasts moving as she breathed.

“Er… oh if you are hoping for an exciting James Bond type story, it is nothing like that. I fell off a horse. Cut it open.”

Alexandra ran her fingertips with a feather touch down her cheekbone and to Erin’s lips. Erin’s body quivered all over and her lips parted slightly at the intensity of the touch. Alexandra’s fingers slipped into Erin’s mouth, past her teeth, all as she held her gaze. Her fingers tasted of hand soap on Erin’s tongue. She dragged them out and traced Erin’s lips. Erin’s neck. The muscles across the top of Erin’s shoulders. Then she reached quietly onto her tiptoes and kissed Erin again. Lips against lips, against tongue, against teeth. Mouths opening to meet each other, greet each other, explore each other.

For a moment Erin was lost in it. Lost in her. Lost in the woman that Erin had been silently loving for so long. Then she pulled away sharply.

“Alexandra, you don’t want this. Think about what you are doing. You’ve had a couple of drinks. It has been an exciting evening one way or another. This is an impulsive decision. I don’t want to abuse my position or risk my job. We can stop this right here. I just want to protect you. To do my job. I don’t want to push anything on you that you don’t want.”

Alexandra took Erin’s hand and pushed it down her lounge pants. She was wearing no underwear. She interlinked their fingers and pushed Erin’s fingers to her wetness. So much wetness. “I have never wanted anything more. Feel how much I want you.”

Erin could feel it. There was no disputing it. Alexandra’s desire, slick across both of their fingers. Then Alexandra removed her own hand and raised it again to Erin’s lips. Her fingers pushing into Erin’s mouth again. The taste of her, potent in Erin’s mouth this time.

“Take me, Erin. I know you want me. I’ve seen your eyes on my body. I’ve seen your desire for me. Show me your world. Show me how much you want me. Take me places I have never been before.”

Erin paused for just a moment and looked at her. And maybe it would be okay. Maybe there was a way for this to be. Maybe it didn’t really matter what the future held, only the magic that was there in the moment. That in the moment they were just two women that wanted each other badly, had wanted each other badly for a long time.
