But then of course the doorbell rings.

Gigi with Jarett, her boyfriend, are standing at our door.

I blink and stare at them, my mind still on West and Kash and Syd and the sex we just had. I scratch at my bare chest. “Hey, guys…”

Gigi is pretty, and Jarett’s hot with his green eyes and chiseled jaw. They look good together, and Sydney’s so happy for them. I can see why. They look like they’re in love, the way he glances at her, the way she holds on to his big hand.

Fucking cute.

I wonder if we look that way to them, too.

Especially now, as I realize I’ve opened the door only dressed in my sweats.

Oh, uh…

Gigi clears her throat. “What have you guys been doing? You’re all flushed and flustered and…. Oh my, is that a hickey?” Red spots appear on her cheeks. She claps a hand over her mouth.

Jarett makes a noise in the back of his throat that sounds suspiciously like a chuckle.

Automatically I put a hand to my neck, where West had his lips earlier. “What are you guys doing here? I mean, fuck… were we doing something tonight?”

“We were going out to eat!” Gigi is practically jumping from foot to foot, her eyes bright. “Someplace nice.”

“Whoa, okay, okay.” I lift my hands in the face of all that enthusiasm and wonder vaguely what caused it. “Tell you what… Why don’t you sit and give us a moment to take a shower?”

She colors more, because of course I implied we’ll be taking that shower together. I didn’t notice when I stopped worrying about what people might think and treating this as normal.

Because it is normal. For us. And so fucking awesome for a group of people who thought they’d live without love.

It would have been so easy to turn sorrow into fury, fury into depression, madness and despair, but instead we’re here. We held each other up, pushed through, built up this life.

“Sure, okay, yes. We’ll just sit here. Come on, Jarett.”

Jarett just grins, content to let his girl pull him to the sofa and then pulling her on his lap, hugging the hell out of her. I grin back at them.

Guy doesn’t talk much. He knows us, we’ve met plenty of times during this past here, but I think that the fact we’re a foursome is only just sinking in. After all, it’s one thing to meet in a bar for drinks and another to come into our home and find us together, rumpled and smelling of sex, but he doesn’t bat an eye.

After all, why should he? Nothing to see here.

Just a happy family.

Showering takes longer than expected because Kash can barely move, still high on endorphins and worn out, and then of course when we’re all naked inside the extra-large shower stall, we can’t keep from touching, and tasting, and pleasuring.

“Guys… Gigi and Jarett are waiting,” Sydney gasps when West pulls her against him and cups her tits, playing with her nipples. “We need to get ready.”

“Why did we agree to dinner tonight?” I grumble. I’ve been hard since earlier, and now that sleeping is off the table, I’d be all for another round of games and pleasure.

“Gigi wanted to tell us something, and…” She moans when West dips a hand between her legs. “God…”

Fuck, I’m about to bust a nut. I turn my face into the warm spray and drop a hand to my dick, pushing it down and gritting my teeth.

Kash loops an arm around me and leans drunkenly into me, blond hair plastered to his forehead, a lazy smile on his face. “Need some help with that?” He looks down pointedly at my hard-on.

I slide a sideways look at him. After so long together, I’m still figuring Kash out. I think he’s still figuring himself out, too, but there’s no mistaking the desire in his gaze when he focuses on my face, on my mouth.

Leaning in, I brush a kiss over his lips. “Sure do. How about we help each other?”

I mean, fuck rushing through this shower. Plus, West has already slid down on the tiled floor and has Syd on his dick, thrusting into her with short, hard thrusts. Making this quick is out of the question now.
