“You wrote the schedule,” Aura reminded me.

“The schedule is organized.”

“It includes a section called Strategic Bonding.”

“That was Bliss.”

Bliss lifted her chin. “Wedding parties need unity.”

“Wedding parties need alcohol and clearly labeled transportation,” Aura said. “Anything else is excessive.”

Bliss ignored her and turned her attention back to me. “The bonding events are another reason I wanted to talk.”

I groaned. “You’re really keeping those?”

“Yes.”

“Even after Cade told you everyone hates them?”

“Cade didn’t tell me that.”

“He told Easton, who told Aura, who told me.”

Aura looked innocent. “Communication is important in our relationship.”

Bliss glared toward her reflection. “The first two days at Oheka are designed to help the wedding party and immediate families become comfortable with one another before the rehearsal.”

“Some of us have known one another for years.”

“Not everyone knows the extended families.”

“Your extended family knows everyone within fifteen minutes because they perform introductions like an invasive species.”

“That’s why we need structured activities.”

Aura’s stylist lowered the flat iron. “What kind of activities?”

Bliss brightened immediately. “There’s a scavenger hunt through the castle and gardens, a cooking challenge with the estate chef, lawn games, love-themed charades, and a family-versus-wedding-party competition.”

“What does that include?” Aura asked.

“I don’t know yet. The coordinator wants it to be a surprise.”

“You accepted an unidentified competition involving the Bennett family?” I asked.

“It sounded fun.”

“Your brothers nearly started a physical altercation over charades last Christmas.”

“Ryker cheated.”

“Charades doesn’t have enough rules to cheat.”

“He created signals.”

“That’s called acting.”

Bliss waved us away. “The events will be fun, and the winning team receives something special.”
