“And your flames are bright right now.” I lifted the box that was just delivered and glanced at her over my shoulder. The smug smile she sent my way had my cheeks warming.

Kyron was all over me whether I wanted his presence or not.

“Grab that please.” I tossed my head toward the other box. She lifted it into her arms and followed me to the back.

“I’m assuming this glow has something to do with a vampire.”

We both placed the boxes on the workstation near the rear door and I turned to my cousin.

“Or maybe I’m just minding my business and drinking my water which has my skin showing and glowing.”

She narrowed her eyes, looking me over. “Girl, you look exhausted. So you’re minding something but it’s not just your business. I’m married to a shifter. I know what exhaustion from being oversexed looks like.” She pointed a finger at me.

My eyes rolled hard, but I grinned, because in the past week my body had been turned every which way but loose. I was exhausted but also had no complaints.

“See, that dreamy ass smile just proved my point.” She glanced around the storage room while I went to get my purse and keys from the shoebox sized office in the corner.

“When did you get shelves on that wall over there? That’s new. It gives you so much more space back here instead of having all those bulky crates and racks.”

“One of the outlets was faulty and caught the paper shredder on fire. I was lucky to catch it before things got out of control.”

And now my heart and pussy are out of control…

“Is that how you met him? Kyron works at Station 112.”

“Yes but not because they worked the fire.” I frowned. “Well, he helped, but only because he’d just finished a shift, was on his way home, and saw the smoke.”

“So he saved you?” she said smugly, placing a hand on her hip.

“He scared the shit out of me and almost burned my shop down. I had everything under control until he came rushing in here minding my business.”

“Mmhm,” she hummed and I narrowed my eyes.

“Are you parked in the front?”

“On the side.”

“I already locked the front door, we can go out the back. You’re driving.”

We left the shop and headed to her Jeep, which was huge for Toyin. She was barely five feet tall but her husband was almost seven feet, so they needed the space. Once we were inside, she was back to questioning me about Kyron.

“Was that before or after Blood Lust?”

“He told you about that?’ I asked.

“Not the details, well… not all the details, but he did say you met there in a suite.” She turned to me, smiling smugly. “I’ve never been but I know what the suites are for.”

“Blame that on Nee,” I muttered and she laughed. Toyin knew our baby cousin was the wild one of the three of us. Toyin was a healing witch, so naturally calm in nature. Since she’d married Xander and had their son Rafe her life was mostly mommy mode. Today Rafe was spending the day with his cousins, which was the only reason he wasn’t with us now. Xander’s brothers also had children and the cousins were extremely close. I wondered if I would have the same for my own.

“That makes sense. Blood Lust is her type of vibe.”

“It wasn’t that bad. The club is really nice.”

“I wouldn’t know and trust me when I say Xander would lose his shit if I even considered going. I’ll just have to take your word for it.”

I grinned because Xander would for sure lose his shit. Her husband did not play about his wife, and having her in a club full of thirsty, sex-charged vampires would have his wolf going crazy.

Since Toyin needed to stock up on a few supplies, she wanted to go see a friend of ours from the Drury Coven. Circe owned a store downtown that was famous for her healing teas. Since Circe’s Circle had a booth at the festival, today was a perfect time to grab a few things.
