“What if I want something to happen?” she asked softly.
My dick twitched with excitement at her words.
“I don’t want to lead you on,” she continued, “but if I’m being totally honest here, I have to tell you I haven’t been able to think about anything besides having sex with you since you kissed me earlier.”
“I think you kissed me,” I teased.
She rolled her eyes. “Whatever. I assume you’re down for whatever happens tonight, right?”
“I am,” I said solemnly.
“Just as long as you understand I can’t promise you anything. This is a one night thing only.”
I resisted the urge to wince. “Understood.”
“In that case, how about you give me the grand tour?”

I’d just propositioned Ollie. Clearly my brain had left the building, and my vagina was in charge now.
I’d never propositioned a man in my life. It felt right though. Inevitable. Except I really didn’t want him to get attached. I didn’t want me to get attached either, truth be told. It would happen easily with this man, I could tell. But I’d promised myself to focus on my personal growth, to figure out who I was now that I wasn’t defined by being a mother like I’d been for so long.
I guess for now I was a horny woman who hadn’t had sex in more years than she could count. A few weeks ago I would have wondered if I could even get aroused enough to have sex, but based on the slickness between my thighs, that definitely wasn’t going to be a problem tonight.
Ollie showed me around the cabin. It was one big room with a woodstove between the living and dining areas. I walked around, not seeing any pictures or anything personal to tell me more about this man. I followed him through the kitchen and out to the back deck where I could imagine watching the sunrise while drinking coffee. Behind the cabin was a large expanse of land that led into the woods.
It was beautiful. Peaceful. I couldn’t hear a single thing that wasn’t nature based. No TVs, no cars, no neighbors making noise. Just the wind and whatever animals and insects were moving around tonight.
“Would you like a drink?”
“Sure.”
I shivered and Ollie lit the woodstove before retrieving two glasses of wine. We sat on the couch side by side, talking quietly and watching as the room darkened around us.
“More wine?”
I shook my head. “I need to use the restroom, then I’d love to see that loft of yours.”
His eyes widened and changed to a golden color for just an instant. “Whatever you want.”
After using the restroom and freshening up I climbed the wooden ladder, Ollie right behind me. I was painfully aware that my ass sticking out while I awkwardly climbed a ladder wasn’t my best look, but I tried to put it out of my mind. He knew I was human. He knew I was a woman of a certain age. And he’d still chosen to do this, so he must not mind too much.
The loft area took up half of the space of the cabin, with large windows cut into the slope of the roof that offered a stunning view of the mountains and stars outside. The biggest bed I’d ever seen was pushed against one wall, a wardrobe and dresser on the opposite side.
“This is nice,” I said.
Instead of answering, Ollie stalked across the space like the predator he was. I resisted the urge to back up as he moved closer, stopping when we were only inches away from each other.
“Nothing has to happen tonight,” he said softly, one finger trailing down my cheek. “You’re worth waiting for. We can just sleep in the same bed without any contact.”
I slid my arms over his shoulders, lacing my fingers together behind his neck. “I want you Ollie but be patient. I haven’t had sex in so long I think my virginity grew back.”
His eyes widened. “That can happen?”
I burst out laughing. “No, I’m just kidding. But it’s been a very long time.”
He brought his lips to mine, his touch gentle. That lasted about ten seconds, then I nipped at his lower lip, demanding entrance, and the kiss turned hot and frantic. Suddenly our hands were everywhere, stroking each other’s backs, shoulders, butts as our tongues dueled for control.
