Carved in the Shadows

Trevan stood before me completely naked.

Bare and beautiful and ripping the oxygen from my lungs.

Every inch of him undulated. His muscles contracting in steely restraint.

His cock was as intimidating as the rest of him.

A tremor rocked me, and desire strummed through my nerves.

He reached out and hooked his fingers into the edges of my underwear.

“Yeah?” he asked again.

I nodded frantically against the plush covers. “Yes.”

Heat radiated from his flesh as he peeled them down, the man a toiling inferno as he watched me writhe on the bed.

I was nothing but a needy pile.

I’d been waiting so long for this.

Trevan reached over to my nightstand, pulled open the bottom drawer, and dug out one of the condoms I’d left there the first day I moved in.

Espresso eyes spilled over me as he rolled it on, though I was having a hard time looking at anything else but him covering his huge penis.

The barbed piercing at the tip strained against the rubber.

“You good?” he asked, no doubt seeing the fit my body succumbed to.

I sucked for a breath, and I gave him a convulsive nod.

Trevan crawled over me. Wound himself between my thighs. Gathered me up like I was precious.

Cherished.

He kept his weight on his elbows while he held me tight against the thunder that raged in his chest.

Our gazes tangled. Twined and seeped and soaked.

A million promises were made in that elongated moment.

“You,” he said like praise before he began to slowly press inside me. A strangled sound left me as he stretched me to the point of breaking.

So big.

So full.

So much.

My mouth parted and my head rocked back.

A gush of ecstasy heaved from Trevan’s lungs, and his expression was contorted in a web of possession and restraint and torrid, blatant affection.

He pushed up onto his hands that were planted on either side of my head.

Gazing down at me. Eyes flitting everywhere to take in every tweak and twitch of my expression. “You good, honey?”

I could barely speak. “So good.”
