Good Lord, I pray it’s his dick. After a few days of him fingering me, I started aching for it, and I haven’t stopped.
I shift on my stomach, and the pressure inside me makes everything else recede. My toes curl inside my socks. I try to concentrate on my coloring book again, but my hand shakes and I accidentally scribble over the lines. I sigh, flipping to a clean page, then back again.
Three hours doesn’t seem like so long when I say it out loud, but it feels like forever.
I don’t even realize I’m squirming until the plug moves and my whole body jolts. I let out a tiny whimper, embarrassed even though I’m alone. My face is hot. I want to text Daddy again, but I don’t want to seem needy, so I just pick up the plushie bear he left on my bed as “a friend for Rabbit” and hug it to my chest.
It smells like Adrien. I bury my nose in its head and squeeze.
It’s a little funny when I think about it. I spent years imagining what my first time might eventually be like, whenever I bothered imagining it at all, and none of those vague little fantasies involved being kidnapped by my dead father’s best friend, discovering I enjoy calling a forty-year-old former Navy SEAL Daddy, and sitting alone in a locked safe house wearing ruffled shorts while waiting for him to come home and—
I cover my face.
Nope.
I am not finishing that thought. My heart is already beating hard enough.
My ears prick up at the sound of a vehicle pulling up the drive. I worry that it’s not Adrien and is actually the people who wanted him to kill me, but thankfully my fears fizzle out when I hear the door unlock and Adrien call out, “Kammie?”
I let out a sigh of relief, then wait for him to walk down the hallway to my room. He left the door open and my wrists uncuffed, saying he didn’t want me to be unable to go to the bathroom and kitchen as needed.
When Adrien appears in the doorway, he’s still in the same clothes he left in—black leather jacket, dark green shirt, and dark jeans—but I notice there’s a lot of tension in his face, and his eyes are colder than they were this morning.
But then he looks at me, and whatever followed him through the door seems to fall away.
His gaze travels slowly from my face to the cropped hem of my shirt, across the strip of skin below it, then down my legs and the ruffled shorts.
“Hey, baby. You been good?”
“You were gone a long time.” I hear the accusation in my own voice and immediately regret it.
Adrien just chuckles and crosses the small room, taking a seat next to me on the bed. His prosthetic hand settles against the back of my head while the other rubs between my shoulder blades. “I know. Now that I’m back, though, Daddy can pamper you all you want, for as long as you want.”
I shiver, blushing.
“So, were you good, sweetheart?”
My cheeks burn, but I nod anyway. “I was good.” There’s a tremor in my voice, which I hate, but it doesn’t go away. If anything, it gets worse when Adrien’s hand finds the back of my neck and squeezes, gentle but possessive, and he drops his head to kiss the top of my hair.
“That’s my boy,” he says, and I melt a little, even as I feel the first flutter of panic because now that he’s here, my body is starting to realize that the hours of anticipation are about to pay off.
Adrien shifts beside me. I’m aware of his size in a way I never am with anyone else, how much space he commands just by existing. He’s not huge, but compared to me he seems to take up twice as much room, and every time he touches me I remember exactly how small I am in his hands.
He turns my chin, so I have to look at him, and the moment my eyes meet his, I forget how to breathe.
“Did you keep your plug in?”
“Mhm.”
He grins, but under the teasing there’s a warning. “I hope you’re not lying to me.”
“I’m not!” I squeak, then realize how that must sound, so I try again, softer. “I swear, Daddy. I kept it in the whole time! I didn’t take it out, even when I wanted to.”
Adrien’s expression gentles a little, and he strokes my jaw. “Good. That’s so, so good, Kammie.” He says my name the way he always does, like it’s something precious. He runs a thumb over my cheek, then presses a kiss to my lips—chaste, but lingering. “You want to show Daddy how good you were?”
I want to say no because I’m already embarrassed and I know what he’s asking, but the truth is, I’m more excited than scared. I nod.
He helps me up, even though it takes a second for my legs to work. My coloring book hits the floor, and I instinctively reach for it, but Adrien is already standing, lifting me up as easily as if I were a doll. He carries me down the hall, and the closeness, the heat of his body, makes my head spin.
