“Definitely underrated,” she said, and Theo’s warm laugh rumbled through her.

He sat up and moved his body around, so they were laying face-to-face again.

“Good morning,” he said with a grin.

“I’d say so.”

He kissed her nose. “I think maybe we should get out of bed today.”

“Really? Are you sure?” she asked. “We should really make sure we’ve locked this thing in.”

Theo’s eyes went dark even as he smiled at her. He rolled on top of her, caging her in with his arms. “Oh, it’s locked in, Fee.”

“Good.”

He kissed her as long and lazily as they’d done everything else this morning. His mouth tasted like her, and her lips were sensitive and swollen. Every part of her felt more with Theo.

“I thought we were getting out of bed,” she said with a laugh.

“I want to make up for lost time.” His face had gone serious, the teasing tone gone. “When I think that we could have had this sooner…”

Fee stopped his words with a kiss. “It wouldn’t have worked then. It had to be now,” she said, kissing him again. “And we have every day from now on.”

A smile spread across Theo’s beautiful face. “Yeah.” He ran his fingers through her short hair. “And I guess we have to spend some of those days out of bed?”

Fee laughed. “We probably should.”

“Right.” He smacked her playfully on the ass and Fee yelped. “Up and at ’em, then!” he said with a grin.

She jumped up. “I’m going!” She hopped from the bed while Theo tried to smack her butt again.

“And I’m coming with you.”
