Play With Me

Will winced at that, but he didn’t drink. On the other hand, I was about to get supremely fucked up.

Will’s turn. He looked right at me. “Never have I ever spied on someone having sex.”

Has froze. The silence was deafening. I gulped the last of my drink and shrugged, ready to own it for the creeps. “I couldn’t take my eyes off him.”

The room exploded.

“Great ass,” I added, slamming my cup down.

Will smiled at me and shook his head.

“Ooookay then…” Jaimie laughed, trying to move the game along. “Never have I ever had sex with someone in this room.” You saucy minx, Jaimie.

When no one drank, Miller huffed a laugh into his beer. Then he grabbed my cup to refill it.

Will’s eyes flicked from me to Has.

I lifted my shoulders. What can I say? Told you so.

Miller handed me my drink but remained standing.

“Never have I ever wanted to have sex with someone in this room,” Brooks threw out there. Drama whore.

Rachel, Has, Jaimie, Miller, and I all drank. Will paused, looking at me before finishing off his beer.

“I’m gonna smoke a cigarette,” he whispered to Miller, and the two of them left together.

I deflated a bit when he decided not to play anymore, but I also felt lighter. A weight had been lifted now that certain truths were made apparent. I wasn’t sure if Will still cared, but I think I made it clear that I do.

I woke up in the morning still drunk. I was wearing pajamas that were on backwards—a tell-tale sign I’d put myself to bed.

“Hasaaaaan,” I groaned as I climbed out of the tent.

“He’s not here,” Will said, and I screamed. I wasn’t expecting his voice, and I probably looked like ass. “You look adorable,” he said instead.

“Charmer,” I attempted a wink. Yep, still drunk.

He laughed warmly and handed me the rest of his drink. “Hair of the dog.”

Ugh, yes, William. Thank you for being a fellow degenerate. Hasan wakes up ready to annoy me: “You know, a good workout always gets rid of my hangovers.”

“Has is at the gym,” Will said. “He texted you. I don’t know where he slept last night.”

I do. Schwing!

“Want to bring your mom down to my booth tomorrow night?” I asked. I must have made a face because Will laughed.

“You sure you want me to? It looks like you didn’t mean to say that.” He was smiling.

“I think my face isn’t working.”

Will snorted, “Probably on account of all of the alcohol.”

“Hey, we had fun.”

“We did.”

“And you called me out!” I pointed a finger at him. Closed one eye to aim it.
